The Ulanzi Treeroot tripod is the best tripod I have ever owned, hands down!
That’s the biggest takeaway for me the having to unplug everything and replug. It’s a good product but depends on one’s workflow.
Just discovered your channel. Keep up the good work. Did you eventually get the usb cable to work. Mine works perfectly, but I vaguely remembered I had to update the firmware on the nano ii with the motor. But I can now control the nano ii motor with the advanced side handle.
Absolutely phenomenal video!! Definitely one of the best UA-cam has recommended to me. Those Sony batteries are frikkin gold and I learned that as soon as I left from my DC trip. Thank you Winston!!!
Bro, I think you should show the live stream production . I think it would help a lot of filmmakers out 👌🎥
You are right. I’m gonna do it asap.
Always informative!
Thank you sir
Good stuff! Where is that network video?
Thank you. I updated the description with a link to it. Sorry about that.
@ thanks man! I’ll be checking that out bc I’m building my studio and want to get some ideas
Amazing. Np. Keep me posted. I’d love to see how you set it up.
This stuff is so interesting. Now I see why Ashley’s videos are quality. UA-cam should sponsor videos like this because people literally throw up any video. They don’t realize how important it is to produce quality content. You/Ash, Janae’s and Karen’s husband are great teams.❤
Thank you Jeanelle. It’s very important. If everything works out I’ll be getting some sponsors in no time.
loved this video! So the cable didn't work? What are you going to do instead?
I’m gonna ask my wife to fix it
@@WinstonMcfarlane🥴🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂
How the hell are you breaking sd cards? That don't even sound right
Thx for the video. It would be very interesting (at least for me) to hear your lightning stand tips & tricks. I mean how exactly you attach and organize your shooting stuff on a stand and why. Tom Buck once made such a video (I don't remember if it was popular though). Also, not sure whether you're okay with criticism or not, but to my taste, your WB was a little too greenish. And your window was blown out. Good video nevertheless.
Thank you so much. I will definitely do some lighting content. Yes I can do a breakdown on how I attach things to the stands and I’m more than appreciative of the criticism. What you said about the WB and overexposed windows made me laugh because I’m currently working on a video explaining how I’m only shooting in RAW from now on to take advantage of the dynamic range and post WB lol.
Super High Quality & Informative Vid. Automatic Sub🙏
Thank you for the support!
Great gear overview. Thank you!
You're welcome. Let me know if you need any more gear recommendations.
Wow such great information. Looking forward to part 2!!
Thank you! I'm thinking about making one soon! Any ideas for topics to cover?
I’d like to know more about lighting. How to select and position lights as well as diffusing light. When and why it matters. Also maybe something on Flattering camera angles as well.
Absolutely. Let me see what I can do.
Spot on with your comment on a special accessory for audio
I might have to make one myself. You down? lol
100% agree!
Thank you. If you got any topics you want me to cover, let me know
🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯 love it bro, your content is well needed on this platform. Teach them.
Appreciate the love. I try to keep it real for my fellow content creators.
This was really good and very informative…made me want to buy everything 😂
Thank you Nadia. Means a whole lot
yeah those milwaukee storage bins are great, store alot if stuff and is organized.
Glad you agree. It's so important to have good storage.
I really enjoyed this breakdown of the gear and tools that have helped you streamline your content creation process! You did a great job showing how these tools actually make your day-to-day easier rather than just throwing out a list of “must-haves.” This is a good mix of high-end pro gear and more affordable options. I can totally relate to your experience with SD cards, the tough Sony cards sound like a game-changer after dealing with those “lost footage” moments. The suggestions on wireless microphones, NAS drives, and even the rolling light stand were super helpful too. You've definitely got me thinking about upgrading my setup. Looking forward to a Part 2!!! Definitely keeping this video bookmarked for when I need to upgrade my gear. Keep up the awesome work!!!
Thank you so much. When you ready to set up your livestreams let me know.
If you're a fan of top-notch gear and staying organized, Winston absolutely nails it in this video with his impressive rundown of essential tools and gadgets! From the Milwaukee Packout System to the rugged Nanuk Cases, he knows how to make you want to click "Add to Cart" faster than you can say "productivity." The Milwaukee tool boxes are a total game-changer, especially the 3-Drawer Multi-Deep model-talk about organization goals! And let's not forget those Sony Tough SD cards; if you're still using old tech, Winston's review is a wake-up call. Plus, his breakdown of audio gear-Zoom F3, DJI Mic 2, and the Rode NTG3-shows he’s got an ear for quality. You can practically feel the crisp sound through the screen! Winston, you’re like the guru of gear-thanks for keeping us all in the know and helping us make better choices for our projects. Keep that knowledge coming, you’re making us smarter one product at a time!
Wow. This is some excellent feedback. my goodness. Thank you Loni, the subscriber that I've never met and doesn't know me in real life. Very genuine and authentic response. I'm sure an AI bot would be jealous
The equipment is very important. I think being able to hear is the most important because if I can’t hear you I won’t watch someone. Thx Winston
Exactly. That's how I feel. I'm a straight sound snob. If it's bad, Imma turn it off.
❤❤❤the equipment content. I’m listening and implementing where I can . I want a new tripod. Thanks Winston!!!! I just gotta know what you do to record PA’s videos to record/play in slow motion. That’s the best way I can describe the effects. Amazing wisdom with equipment. Hey Ashley!!!!!
Thanks Tpon. I'm shooting at 60FPS to get that slow motion. Search UA-cam for a tutorial. I'm sure there are many videos explaining how to do it for your specific camera.
Good vid. Dislike the handle, always comes loose, i took the side handle off day one - why make a "small" camera much wider. Hate the fact need top handle for audio. Hate the fact no 3.5mm. Screen always comes loose. The whole thing is always a rickety mess. Menus - absolutely appalling. WB - awful, please use the same system as the alpha line! Same with codec options. I shouldn't be reaching for my £4k camera over my £6k camera, but i so often do.
Your comment is sooo on point. Everyday I'm considering starting my own accessories company to fix some of this sh***t lol
Dope!!!
Thank you
Bro! I love the Handle.. Ive customized it to work for me now I cant see myself without it.
Please share how you've customized it. I love it too but I just wish it didn't have that annoying shake.
You just saved me money. That little play would annoy me. Thanks!
Glad I could help! It's really annoying if you shoot alot.
Only thing that I don’t agree with is the VF port converting to HDMI or SDI. Correct me if I’m wrong, HDMI and SDI will only send the image to a monitor not the touch screen functionalities. Just food for thought.
Yes. You're absolutely correct. I was referring to Sony coming up with a solution or allowing another manufacturer to create a device that would allow that functionality through the VF port. For instance, If smallHD or Atomos had access to the port licensing, they could create monitors or cables to be able to use that functionality on their own monitors. However, if they just allowed a SDI or HDMI conversion, I wouldn't mind sacrificing the touch capabilities. At least I would still have the option for touch capabilities with the original monitor.
The ND is so dope on my blackmagic I cant imagine the fx3 without them.
I really hope Sony has something cool in the works. Right now, I believe the FX6 is only worth it if you are doing higher end docs and interviews.
You have enumerated the 'features' of the FX6 that steared me to FX30. The only thing I like about the FX6 is the electronic ND. Wish they would release that as an accessory add-on -- Cheers, good show, definitely worth watching if you are considering an FX6
Thank you. I'm glad I could help. I hope electronic ND's are on their more affordable cameras in the future. Idk how Sony will be able to compete with all the great cameras being released by other companies.
Having a loose handle even when you tighten it would drive me bonkers as well
And it’s nothing we can do about it. Hopefully Sony fixes this.
Thanks for sharing, would you recommend this over the fx3?
Np. It all depends on what you’re shooting but overall, no. The FX3 is roughly the same quality in a lighter, more convenient body. If you need sdi and timecode for that kind of work flow then go with the FX6.
Great and Useful setup congratulations
Thank you. Glad it was helpful.
We’re aiming for the 10k subs✨🤞🏽
Yes we are. Thanks for watching. More content coming soon.
100% !!! Same BS I have found as well. IBIS? Why not?
A camera with ibis and built in NDs would be dope.
Lmao "big", my guy said. No they usual have an IT company set up a SAN not NAS with a handle of chuncky drives. Def not in RAID 5/6 where one crashed would never reuild.
Appreciate the insight.
Thats dope man! 🔥 All mine currently hold tools but now you've got me thinking 🤔
It’s literally the best thing. I roll this thing everywhere I go.
@@WinstonMcfarlane man that's awesome!! I love it! 👊🏽
I so needed to hear this ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Let’s gooooo. I needed to hear it too honestly lol. I’m back with the videos and I’m staying this time.
great video!
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for simplifying ways to earn money from UA-cam. Keep the valuable information coming. Oh, and by the way, I love the robe I purchased from Parke Avenue.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching. lol I’m glad you love your robe. And yes, I will keep the videos coming.
The video provides a clear and actionable strategy for beginning to earn money on UA-cam or similar content platforms. It emphasizes the importance of focusing on niche topics, creating high-quality content, and engaging with your audience. The advice on leveraging SEO and consistent posting schedules is particularly useful. Overall, it's a practical guide that could be highly beneficial for newcomers looking to monetize their content effectively. Great video Winston.
Well thank you. Yea… what she said.
Great video
Thanks for watching.
Thank You Winston for the info. you are very patient.👍
Thanks for watching. I get that a lot.

@@av.paradymshift much appreciated. Thank you. Please let me know if there's anything specific you'll like me to cover.
@WinstonMcfarlane absolutely man! If you'd be down to make some about your color correcting process, that would be 🔥🔥🔥🔥
What lense do you recommend for the Sonyzve10 ?
This is complicated because of a few things. First consider your use case. If you will be shooting indoors/low light, you will want something that has a low wide aperture (The lower the F-stop number, the wider the aperture. ex: F2.8 or F1.4. Wide apertures let more light into your camera and create a beautiful background blur. However, they are more expensive the wider you go. Then you have to consider, do you want a lens that can zoom? If you want a lens that zooms and has a wide aperture, thats even more money. So 1st decide what your needs are. The kit lens that actually comes with the ZVE10 is really good, as long as you light yourself well. Me personally, I like using prime lenses (lens that don't zoom). But you have to constantly change then lenses to get different looks. Here's a list of the lenses I use the most. Sony 50mm F1.2, Sony 35mm F1.4, Sony 16-35mm F4, Sony 24-105mm F4.
@@WinstonMcfarlane thanks Winston I will research them
You’re welcome. Maybe I should do a lens video.
@@WinstonMcfarlane I think that will be good because you are very knowledgeable about camera equipment
@KenteeNStyle_ thank you. Ok I will

Great information.Thanks for sharing 😊
My pleasure. Thanks for watching.
Do you have an offsite backup ? What happens if your Synology break ?
Currently I don't have an offsite back up but I am able to lose 2 drives before losing all our files which is rare to happen. Luckily we have the luxury of all the files being our own and not client work, incase something catastrophic happens, god forbid. We do plan on opening a studio in the future and will definitely be getting a backup.
Very nice
Thank you
