Great video. I loved seeing you get the gist of everything! For future reference, if you want a gear to power an axle, the joint between them has to be fixed. Also, if you're worried about ratios, small gears transferring power to a larger gear increases torque and reduces RPM of the axle connected to the larger gear. On the other hand, a larger gear powering a smaller gear increases the RPM and reduces the torque applied to the axle connected to the small gear. Planes controls are fine once you setup button mapping, but WTF is going on with the helicopters. I literally spent 2.5hrs and it kept getting worse. Anyway I’ve avoided them in career mode till it is patched.

An important thing to note is that if you want certain features enabled in career, such as waypoints, thirdperson, seeing where you or your vehicles are on the map, or teleporting vehicles home (like, if they're broken and you want to teleport them back rather than tow them) You'll need to head over to the save file location on your drive, head to AppData, Roaming, Stormworks, Then in the save folder for your world open scene.xml. You'll find all kinds of settings there Be careful though, it's best to make a backup before making changes in case of corruption

You should be able to right click on the map to set a way point. Definitely helps heaps. But you defo still need to find boats or people in a certain scenarios / areas. Looking forward to more of your game play

Tried playing with xbox controller. Had a similar experience. Found lots of threads online with same. Particularly in some of the training missions. Put the game down, likely wont pick it back up. I understand it's a sim, but im playing with all the dveloper default settings and all the assists...it shohld be possible to fly with a controller. Not a very accessible game for new players with standard hardware.

What mods am i trying? Absolutely none because the devs decided to hide their modding tools behind a phuckin with dead links

I must say, it is surreal to see videos of people playing this game on UA-cam. This game was made by me and a friend (as a joke) over the course of two days - it was a submission for a month long game jam hosted by some friends of ours and we figured we’d join in last minute just for fun.
