The 7th Sons giein' it laldy wi' a superb cover of SRV's Pride and Joy during their set at the Dalmallyfest in Exile shindig held at Biggar, 13th-15th August 2010. Chris on vocals, Danny on lead guitar, Tommy on drums, and Ross on bass.....Keep it Live!
Boys and girls the legend that is Alex Harvey and his Sensational Band still missed ❤
Engine...❤
Alex's vocals superb - better than the studio version. I'm not remotely Scottish, but by God I FEEL Scottish when I hear this. Incredible. (Or maybe I should say Sensational).
Young gun here, I was born in 2000 and I love SAHB
dont pish in the water supply
Un véritable monument !
😢 So very much missed.
With AcDc and Slik !
My favorite Scot band
Scottish Mimes playing fantastic Rock Guitar... I just can't seem to get enough
Such an iconic and paradoxical band. Without the gimmicks, how would they get noticed? But when surrounded by the likes of Led Zep and Pink Floyd, how can people see past the schtick? Still amazing work - all Zal IMO.
Who else would bring a female vocalist and 2 pipers onstage in the 70's . . .??? Nobody but Alex Harvey and the SAHB, that who!
😮
Never mind the quality, getting a glimpse of this is magical 😊 VAMBO ROOL OK!
I love this band made my youth x
I think SAHB is to Glasgow what Lynyrd Skynyrd is to Jacksonville, FL, USA. Beaming with Pride for our boys! I just discovered SAHB and I'm totally captivated!! Par Excellence!!!
This is by far the best SAHB song ever i have had this song put into my Will to be played at my Funeral. Tomahawk kid for life
Zal Clemonson is one of the most under-rated guitar players of all time!
Love Zal Cleminson.
Hes still touring with his band to this day
although its true I'm worried now I won't be worried long
Very nice
I mean honestly, this is a brilliant song and Zal is a master of his craft.
The Best!J.Kohler
Who even thinks to write a solo like that? Oh aye, Zal !!!
People today's music is absolutely controlling no tallent crap created by corrupt management, sold to television to sell you complete solo embarrassing try-outs , after that the TV ratings dive ! hey 3 weeks dive is covered by sponsored paid air time ! according to the contract ! but WHO's contract !
dayum... this thing was recorded on a toaster
What a performance! I got into the SAHB after seeing them on In Concert in the mid '70's. What a shame Alex passed away so young.
Epic!
Like Australian colianal song
Forever unforgettable
❤😥😢❤
THE ONE AND ONLY Alex Harvey !!!a Bonnie Lad R.I.P. Alex g
Name a group today that ENTERTAINS. I'll wait.
One of the best songs to come from the British Isles (Scotland) hands down .... just listen to those pipes!
That was spine tingling.
Goosebumps.
The gorgeous Victy Silva ( 'Get it together' tv show) on vocals
Love this! I saw them play it live in Bern, Switzerland in 1974, when I was aged 20. They were supporting Deep Purple and were superb. To add to the experience, my friends and I dropped what turned out to be my final LSD trip. One thing that sticks in my mind that night was the local motorcycle gang, Broncos, who seemed to be everywhere and carried white whips. Can't recall any trouble occurring though. A great night at a great time of my life. Thanks for posting.
seen them many times had the honuer of playing support to chris & the outfit ,Zal`s sin dogs and Alexy Harvey I got my dream .. Teenage idols
Magnificent work on the coda. That part was always going to be tough to get right playing live but that lady carries it off magnificently. Great touch having the pipers onboard too.
Up there! Melody, gravitas, power, tone, guitar licks, the hymnic quality, the soulful scream, the tightness of the band, the dynamics silence vs. sound. Up there.
Way up!
Throw in some pipes and a great female soloist and you truly have an Anthem
I'm speechless every time I watch this video. According to Google, this is the video I have watched the most, ever. I have no idea how this film got made, meaning Wha? Wha? And then bagpipes? The lyric helps me understand why they wrote this song, but the rest is beyond my understanding. Zal's guitar break is what I heard first on a radio a long time ago, and it's what keeps me coming back to hear it again. McMillan, tnx for letting me hear and see this for over decade. Well done.
Still sensational after all these years.... Make your skin pores lifted
A message song that has no sides left or right.Take it for what it is ....
Great 👏👏👏
Alex, taken much too soon and greatly missed.
Sounds a bit too much like Mulligan's Tyres to me. Give me Next, Faith Healer and Midnight Moses. They define Alex Harvey and his bands unique contribution far better.
Brings back memories of sitting in a good friend's basement spinning some of the very best music created. while shotgun tubbing.
Thank you for posting this piece of sublime, bollock rocking, utter, shear, awesome, brilliance.
Probably the best ever band to come out of Scotland.
Stone the Crows eh! Big Country. Trio, Lyall/ Gallagher/Gallagher/Lyall.
@@goneby100 And your point is ?
AC/DC
@@wullieg7269 Not all of them were Scottish.
well you have another one coming home now called Alex so pay him some what respect because i will Not every ENGLISH PERSON DENIGHS SCOTLAND OF THIER FREEDOM I DONT
Only 240p.
Love the lyricist and the pipes too . . . Defo the cat's pyjamas, bee's knees, dog's bollox, nuff said.
