Yearly maintenance. Wheel motor striped down, thoroughly cleaned and about to be re-greased with synthetic NLGI 2 grease .

First couple of days of cutting. Boundary wire set up. On damp wet thick grass. Munching through it nicely. good mower.

Sides custom made by shade4u. Infrared 2500w heater added. Regular budget brown garden netting added to front for cool evenings. Till we can afford a proper custom front. Led strip lights and festune lights added.
Hallo, in den Jahren 2021 bis 2023 hatte ich insgesamt 3 Husquarna Mähroboter - leider musste ich sie alle zurück geben und demzufolge den Kauf rückgängig machen weil diese Geräte massive technische Probleme hatten. Im Jahre 2021 hatte ich den ersten 450er Mähroboter. Dieser hatte Probleme mit dem automatischen laden. Entweder hatte er die Ladestation nicht gefunden oder der Akku wurde nicht vollständig geladen. 2022 hatte ich einen anderen 450X gekauft. Dieser hat Probleme mit der Verfolgung des Mähroboters auf dem iPhone - die Folge, der Kauf wurde rückgängig gemacht. 2023 hatte ich den 3. Mähroboter gekauft, ein 450X Nera. Bei diesem Gerät waren ähnlich Probleme wie beim Vorgängermodell aus dem Jahre 2022. Hier wurde die Hauptplatine gewechselt - erfolglos! Der Kauf wurde rückabgewickelt. Husquarna ist leider nicht in der Lage, derartige Probleme zu lösen! Jetzt suche ich einen Mähroboter, der in der Lage ist, eine Fläche von 2500 m2 problemlos zu mähen und den man auch über das Handy kontrollieren kann. Bisher habe ich noch kein Modell gefunden, das für diese Fläche geeignet ist. Also muss ich wie bisher, meinen Grasgarten mit dem 32 Jahre alten Rasentraktor selbst mähen den ich schon einige male selbst erfolgreich repariert habe. Husquarna ist leider nicht das was man unter einer technisch hoch entwickelten Firma versteht. Da kann man nur froh sein, wenn der Verkäufer jedes Mal den fehlerhaften AutoMower zurück nimmt!!!
Now that you had it for a bit... What are your thoughts on it ? I'm planning to buy this one or the Luba or neither haha. Thank you.
Very happy. Although the stay out zones can be a little unreliable. It ran right through the satellite "no go" zone into a bunch of newly planted saplings today. Which has annoyed me tbh. I guess I really should lay a boundary wire around them.
No good for those that like straight lines on their lawns.
But you can do straight lines on the lawn. 430X Nera + EPOS Kit. Works perfectly.
Epos kit planned for it this summer. It will cost around 800 euro. Will give lines, but more importantly, will make the mower 50% more efficient and hopefully make it last longer
It looks like you have a big lawn there (as do I) would you say the 430 copes well? My other choice is the 310. My lawn is 800 meters square. Thanks for the video by the way😊
@@alexrankin2235 the 430x will do 3200 Sqm. If it's complicated, like front, back and sides. It's goes down to about 2500. The 430x would be overkill for 800. The 310 may be better suited. Plus that model has edge cut
@@kenkenny4238 thanks, I’ve been looking at the 310, I think it will do the job nicely, and is a little bit cheaper too. It’s available with EPOS which we’d prefer.
Thanks for the videos Ken. I have a 430x and was thinking of upgrading to the Nera. Do you have to make islands using boundary wire to keep the Nera out, or can you set exclusion zones on the App? I have 2 or 3 very wet areas I don't want him going through and currently I have to put a temporary island round them.
You can make stay out zones in the app, but they are not as accurate as actual wire.. it's great if you are working on part of the garden or just layed new grass seed.

Considering buying this one with EPOS
Costs an extra 1250 euro for the Epos kit. But will give you more control and will also mow lines with the latest update

mobilith shc 100 grease. Synthetic. Petroleum based grease may damage the nylon gears over time
The way they tell you how these robots operate. It doesn’t look like it cut very good in a line. They say they’re operating with wires. The prices for them cost too much.
They do cost too much. But they do a better job of cutting than any ride on or push mower. But you must give them time. The video is of a brand new machine in a long grass garden. A few weeks later, the garden looks like a putting green
It looked somewhat ragged in the cut. Is it smooth now that it's had time to go over multiple times and keeps it cut shorter?
It works it's way down over a few weeks, till you end up with a golf course quality. Taking 1/16" off at a time
Does it just go around randomly?
Yes and no. . This model uses Husqvarna AIM technology. So it records places it's been. So if your front garden has not been mown, the mower will be sent to that area to start it's random pattern. It's gets everything covered

Not yet. It costs 1200 euro to buy the reference station. Tbh, I don't need it. Garden is set up with wire.

It's going well. The 430x is replacing a couple of small Gardena Sileno mowers. It's doing a much better job. The app is fantastic. You can set up your garden with different zones. And can cut different heights in each zone , as well as staying out of a zone. Fantastic machine. You won't regret it
