Foldable Christmas manger …
Переглядів 22Місяць тому
Friends asked for a Christmas stable/manger for front yard. 50”H x 40”W x 24” D. Must be foldable for storage. So I made the roof removable and the sides fold in to be slim as possible. Treated cedar fence pickets and treated pine lumber, stained and spar treated.

Micro jig Dovetail bit broke on first try (not a bash video)!
Please I would like to know what you replaced it with
Unfortunately, I sold the vehicle prior to adding a new speaker. Had I not, I would have replaced it with a ported 5.25" bass box. Nothing crazy, but that 1.25" boost in size would have worked well and kept costs at bay.
Pastor T I’m very happy for you , you seem to get great joy from the creations you make . 👍🏻
Yes I do! And thanks for the kind words bro!!!
Nice job 👍🏻
Thank you.. Would you click a "like" so UA-cam shares it more?
Very nice Pastor T . That’s a lot of work you did there 👍🏻
@@jgigs6569 Thanks John! It’s a relief to see it finally done. Detail work to come though….
Fascinating Rhythm by Dave Grusin is playing in the video.
Sorry for the volume of music in the shop…
Looking good Pastor T , love seeing the Highway Patrol sign hanging there in your shop . I’m glad to see you are doing well 👍🏻 It was an absolute pleasure having you in the Mcy School
Thanks John!! I appreciate that and you.
1:52 Thanks for taking the time to make this great video!
Thank you for the response. I'm trying to show the progress in a timely fashion. More on the way...
Nice work, T.
Great 👍 job
Thank you! Cheers!
Love the green!
Thank you Dean! Thought to liven up the dining experience with a huge splash of color.
Thank you for sharing. Keep it going!
Hl como uso para q funcione ese parlante el mio ni funciona
Unfortunately, the small speaker inside is probably blown. They were not very strong and I never changed it myself. I already sold the van and the sound never impressed me.
I think the sub is for ANC during Eco mode to help cancel out the noise/ vibration from what I've read?
On the EXL models that's all they do, on the Touring models they upgrade from a 160w amp to a 300w amp and allow the sub to actually interface with the radio
Interesting! Glad they took care of you! Must have just got a bad bit. I've cut dozens of slots with the same bit.
We do apologize about the bit! I know how frustrating it is to have to wait to finish your project. We do appreciate your understanding and this video! Your bit is already on the way.
Thank you very much! I appreciate the terrific assistance in this matter.
Do you know where the factory amplifier is? That's if it even has one. I haven't been able to find any information on it anywhere.
I Sorry, I do not know where it is either. I have since sold the vehicle.
Mine doesn’t have that 😢Mine has a secret compartment
I believe the Touring models with Navigation included the sub.
the size was 4 or 5 or 6
4” speaker in there.
@@PastorTDesigns doyou replaced after all or not thanks in advance.from mexico
Do all touring models have the sub? I have a 07 touring and it does not have this speaker
If you have the Touring model, you should also have the navigation and the DVD player. The sub is under the front passenger seat. The Navigation is under the driver's seat and the DVD, well... is in the dash. I still haven't changed out the sub, I have too many projects in and around the house to get to first.
@@PastorTDesigns yes mine is fully loaded but no sub): leather, sunroof, butt warmers, dvd, navi. I wonder if the previous owners removed it
haha your "update update" was exactly what I was wondering from the start! Why all the trouble of removing the seats when there's four bolts
Thanks for posting this video. Super helpful
thanks for that vid. coulda sworn it was under the drivers seat from reading online... i have a 07 ex-l.. put a house sub in the back with a 12v - 120v inverter. same color and interior as your ody though! except no nav. and under the front drivers seat all i have is an extra storage cubby i can pull out
I don't have the 3rd Gen Odyssey Touring and I am glad I did not buy the car. What's a disappointment for the so called powered subwoofer! It is probably 4.5" or 5" at best, smaller than the 6.5" speakers on the door panel. I have an EX-L and I upgraded it with factory optional powered subwoofer. This is a sealed Kelton bass subwoofer with 6.5" driver and it produces enough thumb under the passenger seat. I thought it was a bit under size for a sub but man this OEM Touring sub is much worse piece of crap. I'd would not blame you for trying to replace it with either a 7" or 8" low profile powered subwoofer from JBL. The 4th Gen Odyssey has a much better 8" powered subwoofer in the back of the van in the rear side panel, which is a much better place for a sub anyway.
I think that's the airbag (the other box under the seat). I was planning on adding a Kicker 11HS8 that I bought from Crutchfield and hiding it inside the lazy susan under the footboard in the 2nd row. My dilemma is getting power to the subwoofer box down into the lazy susan and through the firewalll up to the battery. I haven't found one video yet on youtube that shows me how to do so.
Can you ship these meals to Spain? I’m asking for a friend! :-)
i have that box but i don't think it works... am i missing something? 2006 touring
They are seriously weak speakers. I still haven't had the time to tackle this yet.
@@PastorTDesigns yeah, it works and yes its super weak... hopefully, you'll upload a video when you get around to it..... so we can steal your idea;)
@@PastorTDesignshave you came around to finding out how to make it more powerful, if so did you add a new sub with an amp?
Awesome. I've been wanting to know what was under there for awhile but just have never got around to doing some digging myself. I have replaced all but that one speaker. I eventually want to add 2 12s to the back that can be taken out if needed when we travel. Thanks for the video!!
Glad I could help. I still haven't replaced that tiny speaker, and my bass is lacking.
@@PastorTDesigns I know the rear speakers are 6 1/2 and are very easy to get to. The grills come right off for easy access. Not sure if you replaced them yet or not.
Did you do a video of installing the Bluetooth? And a link to what you used?
I didn't video it, but here's the item I purchased. The instructions are pretty straight forward. USA SPEC BT45-HON3 Bluetooth Phone, Music & AUX Input Kit for Select 2003-2014 Honda & Acura Model
Sorry, no video on that but it was pretty simple. Just be careful when pulling the lower plastic panels from the center console.
@@PastorTDesigns I got this but for 2007 honda odyssey it says it needs to be plugged in to xm tuner which is at the rear end driver side, where spare tire goes. And I couldn't any video how to open that side of trim to get to the xm tuner. Appreciate any help in this regard.
Do you think a shallow mount.8inch with a poly filled box could fit under there? Maybe using 1/2" MDF?
You've got only 5.5" of height under the seat from all the Airbag electronics and then the seat will probably not move back and forth. If you can find a shallow (4" deep ) sub, you might get away with it. I'm still looking for a shallow base box, I remember Kicker made them back in the late 80's.

@@lukeyna1 Looks like it'll fit, but the hole in the top is smaller than the speaker. But the depth of 3" will work.
Great video! Did it fix the shudder in the steering wheel?
Yes, it did.
Yessssss thanks for the vid! Very informative.. I want to do coilovers on mine..
Glad I could help..👍🏾
☺️ this is awesome!!!!!!!
Thanks honey❤️
What did you eventually install in there?
Still have it out. Going with a 6.5" and cut some inner supports out.
Still have the original sub in there.
Yes.
Mph ?
Glad I could help.
We shared your video. Very cool - glad you caught it on video!
