I’m a new sling shot shooter, but I understand exactly what you are saying. I have 102mm, 100mm and 94mm slingshots. With my anchor point I can use the fork tip on the 102mm, but at 50’. At 10m I have to aim low with all three widths. So my point is, If I change my anchor point for various fork widths, I’ll also have to keep changing my anchor points for various distances. Since I expect, as with a firearm, to hold the firearm the same each time and change my elevation sight picture for various distances, it makes more sense to ME to keep the same anchor point and adjust sight picture for various fork widths and distances. Just my personal take.

Electric white was suggested to me by Double Deeez. This video was the deciding factor in me purchasing it. 🙏 I got the .55. I've been shooting Simpleshot .6 clay bands and like feel. Definitely going to consider maxing them out. Will experiment in band length.

I got one but I shoot clay with simpleshot black .6 through my new axiom slingshot.

I feel like the point you are making is the speed changes point of impact and you can use a different frame width to bring the point of impact up or down. For the preferred velocity. I’ve seen this same relationship. If I shoot a 85 mm I need to slow the ammo down to bring the poi lower. It makes one think about all the different physics you can employ to get your reference point just where you want it. Some folks change their anchor but if you don’t like doing that a velocity change could be the ticket. Thanks for sharing.

This video is again on elongation factor and not as titled. You would need to test the same band set through multiple frames of different width and not a few bandsets cut at different lengths through one frame.

Shooting at paper would really help you see the results more clearly and accurately. We all naturally correct when shooting at spinners etc. , but paper with a dot gives us an aiming point and records the results in an unbiased way. Anyway it always helps me when I'm trying to figure stuff out. Good luck and thanks for the video.

Truly sorry to hear about your Dad Josh, I lost my Dad on my 40th B-Day and it is never easy, but we were extremely close and I have a TON of good memories of times spent with him.
