this video was put together five minutes before the deadline and many aspects of it were rushed. so the “content id" version fixes most of that and has a different, more polished mixing/ending! thanks for listening 🤎
btw sorry if i came off as rude in my original comment i was still shocked from discovering the "real" version and how different it was from the version i'm used to (i had only been aware of this version until today, on this version i have well over 40 plays and have made an entire rhythm game chart; one of my favorite songs of all time)

@@yeowool404 i don't think this was very "pronto" but i finally got around to uploading it ua-cam.com/video/Wy_3nb_ZBGU/v-deo.html my computer is Not Good so the recording is pretty bad quality and cuts out a lot (also this video is supposed to be a 2 segment of the chart so there's some silly clip stitching going on)

this is really cool!! it's rare to get such a direct side by side comparison btwn a composition and the existing works that shaped it. i'm guilty of closely referencing drum lines in my compositions too... as they say, bad artists copy, good artists steal 😌 and everything comes together so cohesively here!! the use of sound and silence in the first drop is my favorite! do you transcribe the drum parts into a midi, or do you isolate the drum audio using an audio software? also I'm glad you released this to spotify-i will be streaming! :D
thank you for listening 🤎 as for the drum parts, even though i do use websites like mvsep.com to separate out the drum stem, i only use them as a reference point then transcribe them into midi! it both gives me artistic freedom to do whatever i want in sound design, plus frees me from the copyright issues that might arise :)
