Steven is a 4-year-old child identified with autism. He has received early intervention but continues to have difficulty with fine motor tasks. Steven also finds matching and naming shapes challenging. He usually mismatches and mislabels squares and rectangles. Steven will label a rectangle a “square” and vice versa.
