Thank a feminist. It used to be a prideful wonderful thing to stay home and raise children. I’ve been the pta mom, room mom, emergency mom, to working mother’s children for years. These women are horrible moms, selfish and their children behave terrible.

Men really do not want women to succeed. Not all of us cannot have kids. Not all of us would be good mothers. Some of us are born to be professional.

It is not impossible. It’s just really really hard. We have made changes; we do have allies. But we aren’t done. There is more to do. The greatest challenge will not be in achieving true change - it will be in not overshooting the mark and becoming that which we hate. I despise sexist men (and women for that matter), but I should not despise all men (am I not then sexist myself??) I want to hold girls up, but not at the expense of holding boys down. Punishing all currently living men for the social norms, rules, and laws created over centuries/millenia just creates defensiveness, resistance, and denial. It is self defeating. Yes, there is a time for raised fists and strong action (not violence). But we also have to prepare for the finishing round which is the hard work of bringing everyone along together. The only way society wins is when everyone wins. Not when you just trade dominant positions by force. This compilation should inspire us. And it can also inspire men to do better themselves, and to be our allies. To SEE the inequality.

Although I am retired, I worked in IT and taught technical classes to professionals. While it was not that long ago, I can tell you that I faced harassment (albeit subtly) and many questions that were posed to trip me up. I would get negative reviews from the men who clearly did not like having me, a woman, as their instructor. We are unfortunately, still fighting this battle. This video made me cry because we have not changed very much at all.

Today is December 12, 2024. I want to remind United States women that we are not equal to men according to the constitution. The “Equal Rights Amendment”(ERA) was never enshrined into the constitution. Women have been fighting for equal rights for over 100 years here. Yes there are laws that might give us rights, and make things illegal but laws can be removed or made null. Before you say to me it is not true, research it. Look it up.
