I'm switching to houseboat life so I don't have to worry about the parking aspect and I can fish after metal detecting barbecuing for the dolphins but I'm going down towards San Diego and then I'm headed to Florida Keys and then the Bahamas and then the Tahitian Islands

.. to check if the pearls are real put them in your mouth and if they feel smooth and almost like metal then they are real

when I was a teenager in the 80's and I saw someone with a metal detector on the beach I would go in my backpack and grab all of my pennies flip them all around and watch and entertain myself. Yes I was a little shit as a teenager. Very cool knife score.

Might be time to invest in at the least equinox 800 easy to justify the expense when it helps you find the money targets like gold rings much easier or you can mug someone now that you have a weapon nice find!

LOL,, i was watching a florida detectorist,, and he said basically the same thing,,, "who pulls off the pull tabs anyway",, and his guest detectorist for the day,,, she says,,"i do",, he said,, completely straight faced but joking,, "i don't think i can" (implying he was breaking up with her)

deep 2023 quarter just goes to show,, low and slow on the swings,, try for maximum depth to get the dense targets like gold

Do you use discrimination at all? You could cherry pick the high numbers only, then go back and hit/dig the more junky (bottle caps/pull tabs) less desirable or high probability trash targets. Thanks for taking us along.

The Hook is called a lynch pin . Commonly used on farm equipment.

Nice hunt with a variety of items found. I'm a bit surprised that you are not wearing gloves. Some of the pieces found looked very rusty. Wouldn't want to get cut by one of those items.

I have a weak spot for a lady with a detector. I mean isn’t most men’s dream to find a partner that shares the same hobby. A nice contrast from all the competitive male testosterone that spews from, “mines better then yours, or no so and so on this channel is wrong and doesn’t know what they’re talking about, this is the right and only way. It can be really exhausting, and it doesn’t take long for me to pivot from that sort of nonsense. Thanks for letting me drop by.
