It got broken because I accidentally put lots of pressure on it while it was covered by a towel. I unknowingly pressed my hand on the towel while looking over the table for something.

I come for answers. Both in this video and in the other video with a similar solution, the driver for my Nvidia 980m does not appear. In your case, in both options you have the hardware ID, I cannot follow the steps because the hardware ID does not appear. In display adapters only the Intel appears and if I put a basic/standard one, for example a basic Microsoft display adapter I get (not compatible with ACPI.) I don't know if I would have to change something in the bios for it to detect it. But I couldn't do your two solutions because I didn't have the identification. I hope you can help me.

ids hardware 0F02 i cant find it

After installing, in the device mannager my gpu looked like "error 443 Windows stopped this device...." is there a fix to that? Did I do somethig wrong?

hey bro, i was searched a solutuion for hours and you was de only one can save me. In my case, I had the problem that 2050 Laptop did not appear, what I did was to replace two with the same ID but one with the Laptop at the end, and the other without it. ty

6:07 uhm… mine says 2684, and none of that number is in the file… infact none of them start with “26” it goes from 25 to 27. Edit: so at the bottom of that file, it shows you all the cards in the list, and NONE of the 40 series cards (desktop) are there. Only laptop. (To clarify, all the 30 series and below desktop cards are there, and this is the same for every driver currently available, as far as I can tell. Tf is happening? Edit 2: omg I don’t know what I did but it just suddenly started working

I was having this issue and tried to fixed 3 days... It was a real pain... Tried literally everything... And this video is really helpful as well but sadly it didn't fix my issue... BUT..... I found out a setting in Windows Defender named "Microsoft Vulnerable Driver Blocklist" and I turned that off... Once I turned it off and tried to re-install the driver, the same windows security pop-up opened... And I chose the option called "install this driver anyway" and bam, the issue resolved. So anyone having the issue, that might help...
