Rules? Try to make opponent step on those "traps"?
Yes. The gsme is to pull or push and make your partner touch the traps. Ideally, they should do the correct tai sabaki, but since they were BJJ students, they don't know how to move on the mat correctly. And I also tell them to count how many times they touch the trap. If athlete A touches the trap 3 times and athlete B touches the trap 5 times, at the end athlete B will have to pay something, like 5 pushups or 3 burpees for example.
@@kaizenkanjudo I'll try this next session!
@tokuivaasa Try and let me know. In this channel we have more than 50 games/warmup specifijudor judo and bjj.
belly touch tehnique
I imagine you must be super athletic playing your games.
@@kaizenkanjudo fair, im not took 15 years break from performance sports, not fat though!

howcome the title says double leg?
👍
@@kaizenkanjudo ?_?
@NinjaGangSigns I teach judo for a bjj school. I don't teach double leg, I tech the counter attack. I wish I could see yours.
@@kaizenkanjudo Hey no need to get defensive, I don't mean to get disrespectful. I thought it was similar to a Morote gari. I've actually tried Harai Goshi on proper wresters and it's quite difficult considering their technique, but maybe not if they go for this tackle.
It's morote Mari, yes the same, one in Japanese and other in English. Try use wizard hook on them, it will help.
Do the children have to be barefoot for this game?
They can't step with shoes on the Tatami (mat), si the reason to them stay barefoot is not the game but the place.
@@kaizenkanjudo Why can't they wear socks?
@ninnobroggi Socks slip and it is bad for the train, as we have a lot of footsweep. Do you dont like to stay barefoot or have something against going barefoot?
@@kaizenkanjudo No, not at all, I was just curious since children where I live often wear shoes in "sports" lessons.
In martial arts we have to be barefoot so as not to dirty the tatami. Many times our face and skin touch the tatami, and we don't want it to be contaminated.
faster does not mean better brother, please teach them to do it properly and more effectively rather than straight quick reps
It’s a warm up ranger Rick. Go polish your blue belt.
Thanks for your tip, but the purpose of this training was speed. My students are beginners and I do a lot of technique, but to change the rhythm of the training I do this. But I was curious about your seoi.
Sensai Daniel’s throwing vast majority of opponents of lighting weight then himself in open tournaments it seems.
I competed in 6 different divisions. Saturday: Open Elite (silver) Master Heavyweight (gold) and master open weight (gold). On Sunday I fought adult Heavyweight(silver), master Heavyweight(gold) and master open (gold). I had a total of 19 fights, I won 17 by ippon. The option for smaller guys to enter the open weight is not my fault... And I competed in the adult even though I was master 3...
What happened to the modesty that is a key part of the judo code?
Of course modesty is part of the judo code, you're right, but can't I celebrate my victory? I worked really hard to win them over, I'm a 40-year-old guy who beat 23-year-old boys.
I think you were happy to be screened by TSA.
Yes, I am happy. I think it was funny, this is why I recorded.
@@kaizenkanjudo maybe the first time ever someone was happy to go thru TSA screening. Hahahaha

speedrun any% to a wheelchair
I didn't understand what you meant.
Stop using momentum to lift. You're not making any gains.
That’s the whole point of power training. Moving weights in fast bursts. Don’t spread misinformation, and act knowledgeable.
I understand what you meant, but maybe your lack of knowledge makes you think that way. This is not training to increase maximum strength, but training to increase power, as described in the title. Power training speed is very important and the momentum you say helps to make the movement faster. Furthermore, when you quickly stretch the muscle, you activate mechanisms in your body (muscle spindle) that make you have a faster contraction, helping with speed and, consequently, power. The name for this is called the stretch-shortening cycle which is commonly seen in plyometric training. Furthermore, there are many movements with momentum in judo, why not train that? If my goal was to increase my maximum strength, then you would be right. But anyway, thank you very much for your question, and feel free to ask if you find any more inconsistencies in my training.
@kaizenkanjudo great explanation

This taekwondo
This is a judo/bjj training, but this warmup can be used in any martial art. :)
You can use this warmup for whatever you wanna, but this class is judo/bjj
He’s doing the double leg wrong
Is pretty good for a white belt.
All this stuff is so scripted. I really can’t buy into martial arts as being anything other than a bunch of choreographed dance steps.
I think you have little knowledge on the subject. There's a study saying that Judo helps increase gray matter (brain). This is due to endless possibilities. But some we try to anticipate, because it is something that usually happens (but it may not happen), however, every time it happens, we must be prepared.
Tell me some sport that is different. In soccer they train specific plays, in American football they train specific plays, in basketball it's the same. Why would judo or martial arts be any different? Even self-defense you repeat the most common situations.
Let's try something, train these choreographies and try to be an Olympic champion or UFC champion.
👍👍
Thank you for your coment!

Wat double leg😂😂😂
Fr. I’m all for compliance and slower drilling especially at younger ages but this is setting up all parties to fail here. Kids and women really do need the very best of instructors.

@@kaizenkanjudo wayyy better. Try and highlight those more please. Not everyone can see all of your classes so what we’re exposed to we will assimilate. If you’re putting stuff like this original clip out, it makes you and your students look bad when they’re evidently aren’t.

ua-cam.com/video/F6iQwTdj1Zc/v-deo.html
Tell that young man to keep his head on the inside before he wakes up wondering what went wrong lmao
Sorry, I didn't understand.
@@kaizenkanjudo When shooting a double leg in wrestling, head position outside the body is fine, it's actually correct; In BJJ/MMA having your head on the outside is asking for a guillotine; Instead of putting the head on the outside, he should learn to put his cheek on their stomach, because it'll stop them from grabbing the neck and choking him out.
Now I understood what you meant. But I can't anatomically imagine someone entering a double with their cheek in their opponent's stomach.

Sorry, I didn't understand
It's actually coordination.
Thank you. I will correct.
Sadly, this nonsense passes for Karate class in 2023.
That ain’t karate, that’s judo homeboy. And from what i see this is an entertaining drill to teach kids how to use their opponents momentum against their opponents, which I’m sure you’re aware is a massive aspect of judo
Thank for your answer. And besides you said, this helps to grip strength. The some time the kids are training, they are having fun. :)
Every opinion is accepted. Could you tell me why it's nonsense?
