~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This channel reveals evil Christian doctrine by critically examining UA-cam comment threads and comparing them to scripture and Christian orthodoxy.
Using an evidence-based, unscripted conversational presentation, I unravel the contorted reasoning used by Christians to harmonize disparate theologies, reconcile contradictions, dismiss hypocrisies, ignore absurdities, explain failed prophesies, venerate relics, and defend uncomfortable truths.
I am not asserting that Christianity and/or Christians are inherently evil.
Hey, so I just noticed that I have 30 subscribers... for some reason. I mean, I had no content at all and every button, every check box, every slider was set for private.
Anyway, I thought it might be fun to finally produce something. I published my first video on 10/20/2024. I conduct live sermons every Sunday. Join me regardless of your beliefs to comment, question, challenge and/or join me on a stream.
Top apologist replies:
1. Let me explain to you what God actually meant.
2. You can't understand because you have a hardened heart.
3. I don't throw pearls to swine.
4. But salvation is a FREE gift.
5. That's out of context.
6. Answer a fool according to his folly...
7. The lack of physical evidence proves Christianity.
8. Get behind me, Satan!
9. You can only understand if you are guided by the Holy Spirit.
10. I'll pray for you.
11. Why wouldn't you just believe in him in case you're wrong?
12. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.
13. If you ask Jesus sincerely, he'll reveal himself to you.
14. Every knee will bow, every tongue will confess...
15. You're wrong because [insert favored verse here].
16. I rebuke you in the name of Jesus!
17. For those who don't believe, no proof is possible.
18. Even Satan knows the word of God.
19. Jesus prophesied there would be mockers and scoffers like you.
20. You wouldn't work so hard to deny him if he didn't exist.
    'Hello God, you weren't really clear' This is no excuse, friend. Just because people interpret the Word differently, doesn't grant the Word is incorrect. If you've studied the Bible thoroughly, instead of nitpicking verses to prove your 'contradiction' or disagreement issue, you would understand that: Salvation is gifted to those who only wholly trust in the punishment that Jesus, the Son of God, endured for our sins. Works is not a salvation requirement. Good works will be rewarded in heaven, salvation is not a reward but a gift. Those who wholly trust in the above gifted atonement will be judged just as non-believers as ALL fall short, but they get salvation and if you've done great works, will be rewarded. I pray you one day get to read the Word of God straight from His mouth, instead of relying on your worldly interpretation. Blessings to you.
      _"...who only wholly trust in the punishment that Jesus..."_ Should a father who used one of his sons as a human sacrifice to himself be condemned or worshiped? Don't you agree that sacrificing humans to appease gods is evil?
      _"...Jesus, the Son of God..."_ The Bible makes it clear that a human descendant of David, not God, was the father of Jesus. The terms, "seed" (σπερμα = sperm), "flesh", "root", "fruit of his loins", and "offspring" means that Jesus was the biological son of Joseph. "This is the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David." (Matthew 1:1) "They said, "Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How can he now say, ‘I came down from heaven’?” (John 6:42) "Therefore being a prophet [David], and knowing that God had sworn an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne." (Acts 2:30) "For Jesus took not the nature of angels, but the seed of Abraham." (Hebrews 2:16) "Of David's seed hath God, according to his promise, raised unto Israel a savior, Jesus." (Acts 13:23) "Concerning his son Jesus Christ, who was made of the seed of David according to the flesh." (Romans 1:3) "Remember that Jesus Christ is the seed of David." (2 Timothy 2:8) "I, Jesus have sent my angel to testify unto you these things in the churches; I am the root (progeny) and the offspring of David." (Revelation 22:16) “We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote; Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.” (John 1:45) "When Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, thou son of David, have mercy on us." (Matthew 9:27) Jesus had four brothers and multiple sisters (not half-brothers and half-sisters): "I saw none of the other apostles-only James, the Lord's brother." (Galatians 1:19) "Is this not the carpenter, the son of Mary and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And are His sisters not here with us?" (Mark 6:3) “Isn't this the carpenter's son? Isn't his mother's name Mary, and aren't his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas? Aren't all his sisters with us?" (Matthew 13:55-56)
      @ A father should not sacrifice his sons nor daughters, I would condemn them to whichever God they chose to sacrifice to, including Christianity. The Father isn't a father. He is God the Father, along with God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. So, you're implying, God sacrificed the Son to Himself? John3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."
      @ Yes, he has a biological genealogy. Would God, who puts Himself into the world He created, not be able to manipulate genealogy without copulation? Matthew 19:26 "But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
      _"The Bible is the word of God..."_ Should we expect God to know what the Ten Commandments are? Which was Jesus's sixth commandment? (Notice that Jesus lists only the secular commandments that make no mention of God): 1. Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself: If thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honor thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. (Matthew 19:17-19) 2. Honor thy father and mother: Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honor thy father and mother. (Mark 10:19) 3. There was no sixth. Jesus listed only five commandments: Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honor thy father and thy mother. (Luke 18:20) In Mark 10:19 Jesus added the Commandment to "not defraud". Jesus lacks command of logic: "This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important...". (Matthew 22:37-39)
      _"The Bible is the word of God..."_ Which is true? According to the Bible, Joseph has two male parents (Heli and Jacob). Who was Joseph's father? From which of David's sons was Jesus descended, Solomon or Nathan? Solomon? Matthew 1:6-16 "David the king begat Solomon ... and Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ." Or Nathan? Luke 3:23-31 "And Jesus ... so it was thought the son of Joseph, who was the son of Heli ... who was the son of Nathan, who was the son of David." ~~~~~~~~~ Which is true? On what did Jesus ride into Jerusalem? On a colt. And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him. Mark 11:7 And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon. Luke 19:35 On a young ass. And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon. John 12:14 On an ass and a colt. Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass. And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon. Matthew 21:5-7 ~~~~~~~~~ When was the temple destroyed? On the seventh day- "And in the fifth month, on the seventh day of the month ... burned the house of the Lord." (2 Kings 25:8-9) Oops, make that the tenth day- "Now in the fifth month, in the tenth day of the month ... burned the house of the Lord." (Jeremiah 52:12-13) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When did Jesus' temple tantrum occur? At the beginning of his ministry- John 2:11-16 The day of his trimphal entry- Luke 19:36-45 The day after his triumphal entry- Matthew 21:1-13 Mark 11:1-17 ~~~~~~ How many women came to the sepulchre? One- John 20:1 Two- Matthew 28:1 Three- Mark 16:1 Five or more- Luke 24:1, 10 ~~~~~~~ How many disciples did Jesus appear to in his first post-resurrection appearance? Ten- John 20:24 (even though Judas was dead by this time. See Matthew 27:5) Eleven- Matthew 28:16-17, Mark 16:14, Twelve- 1 Corinthians 15:5
      _"Hopefully you will accept Jesus as your Saviour before you die."_ God warned: 1. "Apart from me there is no savior." 2. "You shall have no other gods other than me". 3. "God is not a man." 4. "The LORD is one." Jesus cannot be the messiah- God specifically warned against worshiping false saviors such as Jesus: "Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me. I am the Lord, and apart from me there is no savior." (Isaiah 43:10) "Thou shalt know no God but me, for there is no savior other than me." (Hosea 13:4) "I am the Lord, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God." (Isaiah 45:5) “You shall have no other gods other than me". (Exodus 20:2 and Deuteronomy 5:6) "I am the first and I am the last; apart from me there is no God." (Isaiah 44:6) "God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind." (Numbers 23:19) "For I am God and not a man." (Hosea 11:9) God specifically stated that he is one: "The LORD our God, the LORD is one." (Deuteronomy 6:4) "And also the Glory of Israel will not lie or have regret, for he is not a man, that he should have regret.” (1 Samuel 15:29) God does not change: "For I am the Lord, I change not." (Malachi 3:6) "I am the Lord; that is My name! I will not yield My glory to another." (Isaiah 42:8)
      _"Hopefully you will accept Jesus as your Saviour before you die."_ It is Biblically impossible for Jesus to be the messiah. Matthew 1:12 lists Jeconiah (also known as Jehoiachin or Coniah who succeeded Jehoiakim as king of Judah) as Jesus' ancestor, and God states in Jeremiah 22:30 that descendants of Jeconiah are cursed and that no ancestor of Jeconiah will ever sit on the throne of David (heaven) or ever rule in Judah. Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God." (John 20:17) "And do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven." (Matthew 23:9) "Jesus cried out in a loud voice, 'My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?'" (Matthew 27:45)
      Jesus said his return would be imminent - 2,000 years ago! Jesus told his disciples that they would not die before his second coming: "There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom". (Matthew 16:28) "Some of you standing here will not taste death until you see the Kingdom come with power." (Mark 9:1-20) "The time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God is at hand." (Mark 1:15) Jesus falsely prophesies that the high priest would see his second coming. "I say to all of you; “But I say to all of you: From now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.” (Matthew 26:64)
    Jesus never existed; the Romans fabricated his story by repurposing narratives from the Old Testament to serve their political and religious agendas. The name 'Jesus' does not appear in any known texts from the first 300 years after his supposed existence. You will not find any mention of the name 'Jesus' in contemporary records from that time. Furthermore, the terms 'Christ' /'Messiah' is a title that have been used in various contexts throughout history. They could refer to different figures or symbolic ideas, making their application to Jesus more of a theological construct than a historical reality.
    • @EvilXtianity
      _"...the Romans fabricated his story by repurposing narratives from the Old Testament to serve their political and religious agendas."_ This is the way I put it in the debate: Paul created the Jesus fiction in 48 AD rater the Daniel :25 prophecy expired unfulfilled. Paul's goal was to garner support for the insurrection against the Romans which began in 46 AD led by two brothers, Jacob and Simon, in the Judea province. The revolt, mainly in the Galilee, began as sporadic insurgency until it climaxed in 48 AD when it was quickly put down by Roman authorities. Both Simon and Jacob were executed. He created the fiction of having witnessed the risen messiah. He wanted to show that the messiah had come as prophesied but was murdered by the Romans. This was to entice the Gentiles to aid in the Jews' rebellion against the Romans.
    I'm sure it's different when you're not just triggering some butt hurt Christian with their own bibles words. But I'm not like that. I think that you have studied the Bible extensively for the sole purpose of proving the believers wrong. Using their own Bible against them. But you've become obsessed. More obsessed with the Bible than 99.9% of Christian's themselves. You seeing the comments of Bible quotes from people trying to spread Jesus' love make you feel hatred. It makes you want to tear them down and destroy that love. But if we look at the meaning of god and the devil, we see that god creates and the devil destroys. So you are quite literally doing the work of the devil. Believe the Bible or don't, that's not my business and I literally couldn't care less. But the two primordial forces of nature have and always will be birth and death. Creation and destruction. The birth and the death of a human. Of a planet. The birth of the universe leading ultimately to it fizzling out and dying. In the end of your life do you ultimately want to be responsible for creating, growing and loving?       _"...do you ultimately want to be responsible for creating, growing and loving? Or for hating, demonizing and destroying?"_ It's not necessarily a binary question. A person can be both a creator of love and a hater of evil. It's important for institutions to be challenged; especially those where there is a monopoly and social pressure to not question them.
Maybe it’s easier on a computer? I also want to make a different point to you. So in the Tao te Ching it refers to itself and also any spiritual text as a finger pointing to the moon. The words themselves being the finger and god being the moon. It then says basically that if you spend all of your time looking at the finger, you’ll never see the moon. That being said, I wonder if your primary mission of tearing down the institution of Christianity for is corruption and dwelling on the topic of weather Jesus did or didn’t exist is equivalent to you analyzing the way that the finger is positioned. Hear me out here. The hand may have warts. 3rd degree burns. Maybe it’s missing fingers. After 2000 years it may not even look like a hand anymore. But at its root it is still pointing at god. Jesus being real or not pales in comparison to the idea of following the message and realizing that the words and teachings in the Bible are only a finger that points to something greater, and getting hung up on the monotonies of the the words themselves is only holding you back from seeing the message that the words are trying to send.
      I'm sorry, I didn't intend to ignore you. I don't always receive reply notifications and just happened to see this one. I sincerely do appreciate your input and challenges to me. My first argument was that it is evil to worship a father who used one of his sons as a human sacrifice to himself. My second worst argument would be the indoctrination of children by convincing them of eternal punishment in hell if they don't behave. As you are probably aware, in this sermon I acknowledge that I would rather live in a society that believes they will be held accountable for their actions in an afterlife. In fact, I conduct my own life with that belief --- but there is no evidence it is true.
      The bible actually says in verses like Matthew 19:14 that children are much loved by Jesus, and teaches that they wouldn't go to hell just for misbehaving (Jesus died for that reason). Plus the disciplining of children is necessary in life so that teaching is ultimately doing more good than harm and they would probably be thankful when they grow up for it. On a side note the only thing I can think of in the bible that talks about that is Proverbs 23:13-14. Is that what you're referencing?
      @@vokqe _"...and teaches that they wouldn't go to hell just for misbehaving..."_ God punishes children for things that their fathers, grandfathers, great-grandfathers, and great-great grandfathers did. He is so proud of this that he repeated it four times in the Bible- "I, the Lord, thy God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation." (Exodus 20:5 , Deuteronomy 5:9) "Visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children unto the third and to the fourth generation." (Exodus 34:7) "Visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation." Cursed shall be the fruit of thy body." (Deuteronomy 28:15-18) And sometimes God slaughters children for the unspecified sins of their fathers- "Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers." (Isaiah 14:21) The Great and Mighty God shows loving kindness to thousands, but punishes children for the iniquities of their fathers- "Thou shewest loving kindness unto thousands, and recompense the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them: the Great, the Mighty God, the LORD of hosts, is his name."        @EvilXtianity For exodus 20:5 and the others alike: visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children; meaning chiefly, if not solely, the iniquity of idolatry; which being such an insult on his honour, "crimen laesae majestatis", is treated by him as high treason is among men; not only he punishes the authors and perpetrators of it in their own persons, which is meant by "visiting", but upon their children also, which are parts of themselves; and whatsoever is inflicted on them is the same as on themselves, and is an addition to, and a sensible aggravation of their punishment; and especially these are visited in such a manner, when they tread in their father's steps, and fill up the measure of their iniquity. For Deuteronomy 28:15-18 It does not specifically mention children (more likely infertility or something like that) isaiah 14:21 These words are directed to the Medes and Persians, to prepare instruments of slaughter, and make use of them; and prepare themselves for the slaughter of the whole royal family, Belshazzar and all his children. So it is threatened to Jezebel, or the Romish antichrist, that all her children should be killed with death, ( Revelation 2:23 )
Matthew 28:15) and the story of the field of blood (“Wherefore that field was called the field of blood until this day." Matt. 27:8). Matthew is also written in the third-person as with Matthew 9:9, "As Jesus passed on from there he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, “follow me”. So he arose and followed Him." Also, the author of Matthew simply copied word-for-word from the earlier Gospel of Luke about meeting Jesus, presumably a significant event in his life.
      _"El is short for Elohim."_ The Gospel According to John was only attributed to John later in the second century when the Church Fathers were attempting to define who, in their opinions, wrote each of the gospels. There is no evidence that John even existed. The earliest Gospel fragment we have dates from the second century (John 18). More than 80% of New Testament manuscripts date to the 5th century or later. We know John was written anonymously because it is written in the third-person (John 21:24-25) referring six times to "the disciple whom Jesus loved" and "the man who saw it has given testimony and his testimony is true. We know that he tells the truth and he testifies so that you may also believe." And John 20:3 reads, "Peter and the other disciple started for the tomb." That "other disciple" is John. John 21 states, "We know his testimony is true." In other words, "we" (the author and the reader) know that "his" (the beloved disciple) testimony is true.
      @ I understand your skepticism around the Resurrection, however, atheist ancient Biblical scholars including Bart Erhman and Francesca Stavrakopoulou believe the historical Jesus existed. It is a fact that he was a wondering preacher, had a following, was baptised by John in the river Jordan and was crucified by Pilate. Those are facts. The majority of historians agree on this. The question is whether he was the Son of God. Both Christian’s and Atheists have very compelling arguments to support their claims. However, it doesn’t matter how much evidence you or I have - we have to choose him. We have to love him. If God showed himself - there would be no love, only acknowledgement. God wants us to love him - we have to make a choice which begins a relationship with him. I as a Christian also believe in Evolution and science, much like John Lennox (Mathematician) and Francis Collins (biologist). I also recognise parallels between Christianity and other stories, but it doesn’t mean that Christianity copied. Those copycat arguments first emerged in the 18th or 19th century.       _"Then what is your moral standard to say that this God is guilty in the accusation that you've said?"_ The core doctrine of Christianity is the literal worship of a father who used one of his sons as a human sacrifice to himself. Taking the life of another human is evil and morally wrong by every moral, civil, and religious code from every society for all of history.
Moses gave all the Lord’s share to Eleazar the priest, just as the Lord had directed him And, the booty treasure wealth Lord wants lol. Gold and virgin lady assiocate very closely to Dragon
He then argues that there cannot be an infinite series of moved movers." How the universe can begin from nothing has scientific explanations that don't require a creator.
      @ Yeah, the argument from motion. It still stands even if the world is eternal (creation ex materia; read De Æternitate Mundi by St Thomas for more info, although I do believe in creation ex nihilo) but it’s referring to metaphysical motion- that which every potentiality in anything contingent (characteristics of contingency can be composition, dependency, visible causation, etc.) is actualized by another, and this chain can’t go ad infinitum per se so it will just end in something actual.
    Sacrificing one’s child is generally considered evil. The circumstances surrounding the crucifixion of Christ are different however. Jesus was killed in human form as a sinless sacrifice in order to take on the sin of the world. His sacrifice was not to give praise to a pagan or satanic idol, but to take on the punishment of humanity so that it could still be saved and pay no penalty for sin. While I’m yet to compile evidence into a cohesive argument for what you claimed in, I have to thank you for putting me on the spot. I never really considered why Jesus was real but your arguments against His existence led me to try and find evidence! Thank you and have a blessed day!
      _"I never really considered why Jesus was real but your arguments against His existence led me to try and find evidence!"_ Thanks for stopping by and offering your thoughts. The tentative title for my next video is, "They all have!". That was in response to me challenging someone to cite a single Bible prophesy that has fulfilled. She never replied back. I think most Christians were born into the religion and were taught that certain foundations of the theology are absolute facts; including whether Jesus even existed and that he fulfilled the prophesies from Daniel 9:25. But the Gospels were all written anonymously, after 70, by non-witnesses to Jesus.
      _"I never really considered why Jesus was real but your arguments against His existence led me to try and find evidence!"_ I see that we exchanged comments on another channel, so I will reply here with an outline of my arguments for Jesus being a fictional character- 1. None of the Gospel authors witnessed Jesus. 2. In the entire first century Jesus is not mentioned by a single historian, religion scholar, politician, philosopher, or poet. His name never occurs in a single inscription, carving, sculpture, or monument and is never found in a single piece of private correspondence or official record. 3. Jesus himself left no archaeological evidence of any kind, such as artifacts, tombs, dwellings, works of carpentry, or self-written manuscripts.
      _"His sacrifice was not to give praise to a pagan or satanic idol, but to take on the punishment of humanity..."_ That's still evil. Christians believe that God sent one of his sons to be tortured and killed as a sacrificial offering (a practice adopted from Paganism). They worship this human sacrifice as part of a ritual intended to appease a god (penal substitutionary atonement). In Christian theology, atonement refers to the forgiving of sin by using Jesus as the human sacrifice.
