I say semi-cold start cause I had this running about an hour before this, however that was enough time for the engine to cool down a bit and give me one final decent cold start before we got her put away for the upcoming winter. on another note, thanks for 500 subs, if i keep my grades up I get this Wednesday off so I'm gonna try and hit up something interesting for the first Wednesday.

Eau Claire decided to test super late, which made me even more pissed than I was before, as I was planning to go to Jim Falls instead of here but having to sprint to the Whelen after was an odd mixture of fun and frustrating, at least I got to end the summer with something interesting. is that tornado siren?
My city has a truckload of these, they're actually the primary warning siren for our area. They range between 150-180 decibels from a good probably 700 feet away (The distance between my house and the nearest back in 2015 and 2016, the years they were used most)

i live in Algona which is just half an hour ish south of there. i really want to record this if i get the chance. im proud to live in a county with a siren thats just as rare as an ACA hurricane. sure, there may be 3 hurricanes still in cities, but 2 are inactive, meaning in terms of city systems, this siren is technically just as rare as the ACA Hurricane in Wilwaukee. if you are ever able to find out how often they do noon blasts let me know. i just don't know why kossuth didn't participate in the statewide test again this year. if only i knew what they were doing... (if your interested i made my own north central iowa siren map if you want to check it out. just go into the despription of my channel on the about page and you will find it)
If those 2 inactive hurricanes you are talking about were Garland TX, those were removed. Only 1 now.
