Hi Marissa, I love your videos so much. I am an Air Force officer and my family and I are considering moving to the Fox Valley when I get out of the Air Force in a few years. My wife and I are both from the south, so Wisconsin is far from anywhere we're familiar with! My question is: is Appleton the type of place that is welcoming and accepting of "outsiders", newcomers who aren't from there? Would our kids (ages 7, 9, 13) find it fairly easy to make friends? Some places are notoriously unwelcoming to outsiders.

Thank you! I've noticed myself understating my own contributions and others poor behaviors and have been trying to find better ways to comunicate both honestly and kindly.

I will definitely try these suggestions but just wanted to ask what the purpose is? I'm not a people pleaser but still get praise when I deliver something really good to a client so I like saying no worries because I'm good at what I do.
