I don't remember seeing so many gorgonians on one concrete block. Which section of the reef were you diving?
Not entirely sure as it was only my 2nd time diving it. I was being lead
I predict better conditions...in September.
Did you submit this to Spotting Sea Bass?
I wonder what is inside the plane? Great video thx
Great video of local ocean. I should get back in diving again.
Great to see so many Olive, Blue, and Vermilion rockfish. They've disappeared from the nearby reefs.
It probably helps that the wreck is right off of old marineland and thus in a marine preserve
@@socalscubareport5097 I was concerned the rockfish traveled north to escape the warmer water. We don't even see them at Pt. Vicente Pinnacles any longer. The Jenny Lynne is a great dive when you can see it. diver.net/bbs/posts003/91352.shtml
Looks fun
I dove here once and hated it didn’t see much. My favorite spot in PV is Homeymoon Cove And OML
PV as a whole is a LOT of hit and miss. Pt Fermin has been pretty reliable as far as marine life both big and small for the past couple years. I even have a buddy who saw a Giant Black Sea Bass there a couple months ago. The ridge that juts straight off of the point seaward also provides some interesting topography. But the only way to see it is to keep diving!
