In this video we decode the ECM pin of a 2015 Volvo V60 T6 , then take a backup of the ECU and write a tune file back to the ECU. This is now released for public purchase and rental through our webshop www.modunlock.com

ModUnlock testing of T6 Denso Ecu decoding is nearly ready for release. Previously "DiCE" based Decode would take around 20 Hours with a Laptop, battery charger, Dice, Vdash and Internet connection. Max time with ModUnlock is 4.5 Hours. No internet, No DiCE, No Laptop, No Charger, NO keys! This particular car was about 19minutes. Edit. P3 Petrol Denso ECM decoding is now included in firmware 1....

ModUnlock V2 doing a decode on a p1 s40. Video shortened as otherwise it is incredibly dull 🤣🤣. Full decode was about 7 minutes. It's a nice idea, my DICE does 230-240keys/sec, modunlock 750/sec, the speed difference is considerable. But for the average DYI'er, spending 16 hours decoding vs 6 hours is not worth the £500 premium for this modunlock. Might be worth the investment it if you have a garage and you're decoding Volvo CEM's on a daily basis.
Would really like to know if it’s possible to disable the 3 times blinking when using the turn signal. My previous car would just stop after 1 blink when I accidentally hit the lever.
Hi there when I try to change configuration for trip computer it fails to communicate with cem.. I've added the pincode in vdash but still the same. I'm using vxdiag.. thank you

I'm so jealous. My computer is STILL trying to decode my CEM. I ordered the modunlock and it will take a whole week to get here.fml smh sad.
How long did it take you in the end?
@@galaxyb1103 I ended up getting a Modunlock. You use it and it unlocks your CEM. I forgot how long it took with the Modunlock but it wasnt long. I think it was less than an hour. It was definitely within the same day though

Definitely an interesting item. Do you know roughly how many keys per second this is able to do? Or are you doing some other secret sauce style decode to achieve the faster decode times?
The cpu in the cem can go much faster than the DICE mcu. The mcu in Modunlock is much faster than the cem cpu, so we just go as fast as the cem cpu can. it's about 750 challenges/sec
How is 2008 a Platform 1 vehicle? Also, what is a P1? Is it not P80, P2, P3 and so on?

Naah. Not that bad. Local volvo officials asked 1,700 euro for activate navigation on 2020 xc60. 1,7k euro…. Cmon. With vdash much much cheaper

@@sxatster Other words you could have used are "convenient" "simple" "quick" "Easy" . Smok is itelf an expensive thing to buy. if you have 1 car it makes no sense to spend nearly 600 euros on smok. consider the world from points of view other than your own :-) , bear in mind the majority of the population of the planet cannot operate a zip file.

How well does it work on P3?
Maximum decode time for p3 is around 6 hours. Shortest I have seen is about 35 minutes, but most take about 2 hours.
