Wisconsin & Southern T006 with Passenger Cars
On August 25, 3023 I was west of Milton, WI when I caught WAMX 4170 (WSOR) pulling T006 long hood forward. At the end of the train were two Wisconsin & Southern business cars, Northern Plains and The Stone Gardner. I later found out these cars were leased to the Agawa Canyon Tour Train in Ontario, Canada.

2024 CPKC Holiday Train

The CPKC Holiday Train stopped in Watertown, Wisconsin on December 8th, 2024. There was quite a large crowd there by the time I arrived so I drove over to Richwood, Wisconsin and waited for it there. After it blasted past me in Richwood, I drove to Columbus, Wisconsin to see the performance at that stop where the crowd was a little smaller.

On May 26, 2024 some members of the Wis-Ill Modular Model Railroad Group visited the Illinois Railway Museum. It was a soggy start to the day but it didn't dampen our spirits. By the end of the day it was steamy in the sunshine. We all enjoyed our visit to IRM.

On August 17, 2024 Wisconsin & Southern train T004 pulled a mixed freight train through Milton, WI en route to Janesville. The train is seen here crossing E. M-H Townline Road. At the rear of the train was a string of military vehicles produced by Oshkosh Defense. The train was lead by WAMX 3893, 3890, 4177, and 4219.

The Final Spike Steam Tour celebrates the merger of the Canadian Pacific Railroad with the Kansas City Southern Railroad. WSOR train T004 pulling a string of military vehicles across Municipal Drive in Milton, WI on 02-03-2024. Locomotives are WAMX 4173, 6026, and 6031. There's a nice mix of Oshkosh Defense JLTVs and L-ATVs.

This photo charter of Soo Line 1003, a 2-8-2 Mikado steam engine, began in Brandon, WI then backed down the rails to Fairwater, WI for a runby at Fairwater Feed & Supply. It then continued past the Brandon grain elevator and through Waupun, WI to get to Burnett, WI for another runby at the grain elevator there. On October 3, 2023 the 63rd anniversary of this occasion, I finished a clip of the opening of the show that my wife Stephanie recorded of my son Jack and I recreating that iconic scene.
