Touratech verspricht echt fernreisetaugliche Motorrad-Abenteuer-Ausstattung.

Thank you for the Touratech review. I have the same bike as you. Your review from Salar de Uyuni at 30,000km helped convince me of Triumph reliability, and I liked your original Touratech goodies video. If Touratech is monitoring these comments, I tried to purchase the same handguards as yours, but their web site product description says "Touratech Defensa Expedition Handguards, Triumph Tiger 1200, 2022-on (*not explorer*)" - and my bike is a Rally Explorer, so I do not see an option for this bike on their website. I bought handguards from SW-Motech instead.
well, their loss, right? But I think, the ones you found also fit on your bike. I still hope they read this too. best regards from India, Jörg
What is the powerbank for your battery? It is just to emergency charge it? I know you can't jump start the OEM lithium battery so a portable charge might be a good item to carry on tour.
it's this one here:www.amazon.de/gp/aw/d/B016UG6PWE/?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_plhdr=t&aaxitk=b25f5369e357dce9712d4462fc6eb027&hsa_cr_id=6886962880702&qid=1735616010&sr=1-2-e0fa1fdd-d857-4087-adda-5bd576b25987&ref_=sbx_be_s_sparkle_lsi4d_asin_1_img&pd_rd_w=WDdda&content-id=amzn1.sym.6f8b36f0-c2c9-44f2-97a8-5b151d2fc9c7%3Aamzn1.sym.6f8b36f0-c2c9-44f2-97a8-5b151d2fc9c7&pf_rd_p=6f8b36f0-c2c9-44f2-97a8-5b151d2fc9c7&pf_rd_r=190DMP3YBFSP48E94TWR&pd_rd_wg=wcMp6&pd_rd_r=df8aa6b0-006c-4e29-a4b8-362d558ee15a Never tried to start the Triumph with it, but don`t see a reason why not!
@@my-global-ride Ah I see. I have a couple of similar...one for my car and one for my Triumph Thunderbird. But they are lead acid batteries. My Tiger (& yours) has a lithium battery and, as I understand it, you can't jump charge it. From the NOCO user guide " Connecting to the Battery. Before connecting to the battery, verify that you have a 12volt lead-acid battery. The GB70 is not suitable for any other type of battery. " I could be wrong though and hopefully you'll never need to test it out lol. Cheers!
What happened to your shins Jorge? Look a bit bruised up?
Yeah, they are. Lots motorcycle related scars, like kickstarter errors in my early years and many more. the latest was from jumping onto a running train in Mumbai and failed. Those are definitely some of my ugly parts ;-))
@@my-global-ride Signs of a full life lol.
Nice episode once again. Which tyre inflator do you carry please ? Not too big I suspect.

When are you planning next Triumph review? 90k km?
@@krzysztoflee5175 no, not that early. When I’m back home, with something between 100-120000 km I guess.
@ good luck! Always eager to get an update from you!
Nice and detailing review - thank you! About Garmin - same here. Two years ago I swear I would never buy a Garmin again. I sold it and I got a rugged android running OSMAND. There was a learning curve but not more than a month until I learned it and I'm using with zero problems since then.
Great choice too, Constantin! Yeah - finding the right gear is a learning curve;-)
I have the same skid plate. One plastic slider broke off in the first month. The other one cracked a week after that. That's the cheapest quality plastic I've ever seen. I looked at the price of new ones and they can keep them.
I'm with you there - but other than that, the skid plate is great, isn`t it?
What a great (and probably free? 😄) commercial for Tiger 1200 😍
What you mean - free for whom? For Triumph for sure;-) but me riding on this bike around the world is not less than a win-win-win!
@my-global-ride I ment triumph should pay you 🙃 I can see that, it's quite inspiring. Cheers!
Nice 🎉review and I really enjoyed your video 😊 stay upright 😊
Thank you Ronn! Easier than the German one I guess😜🤗
Ah Chile! Land of the best red wines...
Da stimme ich dir zu!
Wow! Great footage getting on and off that tiny ferry boat! Our hands were sweaty just watching!
Great, so mission accomplished 😊
Jorg what about safety? Mexico is the only one worrying me,can you share your experience? Thanks
Hey Alex, yes indeed, there is a dangerous country bordering with Mexico- it’s called the USA! Lots of weapons there and people that think, south of the border everyone is a criminal. I didn’t feel unsafe for a second in Mexico. Sure there are areas to avoid, like in almost every other country in the world. Just go and see yourself how warm and friendly the Mexicans are!
@ Thanks for the response! I know exactly what are you talking about, because i have moved here from Europe and after 15 years of living here i am still shocked how ignorant iCanadians and Americans are (majority)…. Wish you all the best! If you ever plan to visit Alberta/Canada You are more than welcome to stay at my home.
My German is not good enough to reply 😮 if you spoke slower I would understand more 🎉 nice recap of your Mc and repairs. Were you reading from a script. Good update 😊
Ronn - just wait for the English version tomorrow 😉
Waiting for the English version 😊
Sure, same time tomorrow 😉
Felicidades, buen video. Disfruta tu viaje

How reliable has the triumph been after 85K Kms, any major issues?

What a challenge to get a visa. And the ferries made for bicycles. Rice fields look great too. Stay safe 😊😊

Really enjoyed 😊 your video sure brought back memories. I was always in awe of the wats. And the craftsmen that built it. Very nice indeed 😊😊 take care.
Yeah, I saw it first around 20 years ago. Siam reap and the surrounding infrastructure grew a lot, but the temples still have the same mystical charm.
Ich wünsche v.a.
Keine Sorge, mir geht’s gut. Liebe Grüße und eine schöne Adventszeit aus Goa, Jörg
wellcome sir❤️
Thank you very much❣️
Thank you very much❣️
That place is very dangerous. Aren't you afraid they might capture you to force you into illegal work?
I prepared well for that risk: I read a sign at a bakery in Germany that said: avoid the risk of being kidnapped/captured! Eat more cake! You eat more cake, you’re gonna be heavier. You‘re heavy, you cannot be captured easily! So I ate a lot of cake- try to take me😋
My friend lost $700 at the massage parlor that way too . They switched his $100 US Dollar bills with fakes. But he didn't realize it until he was back at the hotel.
Yeah- they are professional 😏
The highway from Koh Kong to Sre Ambel is horrible; best to avoid until construction has been completed, although I understand some people like driving along bumpy highways. From Thailand, best entrance point into Cambodia is at Ban Khao Din/Phnom Dey. Fast and efficient and good roads all the way to Phnom Penh.
I was lucky, it was dry that day, so it was kind of fun🤗
What country is your bike registered in? Did you register your trip on the Cambodian customs app?
My bike is registered in Germany, and yes, the Cambodian customs registration was essential for that flawless bordercrossing.

Saying something without proof at least show the massage place 🙄 of course come to Cambodia and keep talking about Thailand
You need proof? Just enter some massage outlets in Shianoukville and Phnom pen, in at least every second one, you will find such a box on the wall. As I was told afterwards, this is one of the most common tourist scams in these towns. And what’s the problem to mention Thailand? My audience has the right to be informed correctly about the country they might want to travel to too. And a comparison with the most visited country in the area is more than legit. And Cambodia has some issues to work on definitely! But on the other hand Cambodia has amazing people and sights as well, you‘ll see more of that in the next episode 😉
@ there are scam everywhere in this world I don’t need to check out for other experiences it’s yours experience so you need to add proof of what you said not using Cambodia for view clout 🙄 not a surprise u come from a previous country and the first video u made about Cambodia is got scam without proof bla bla bla and the first place u been to is explain very well about ur purpose why u come to Cambodia hope these little view help you live happily for the rest of your life 🥰💕
@ I appreciate your opinion. All the best!
@@my-global-ride and excuse me why is SIHANOUK the first place u visit next time add massage address so we can help track down these places if it legit or u can report to police.
