Wasn't the Vex thing on Neomuna supposed to be another source of exotic armor? I remember new ones would drop from there but I don't know if that's been changed.

Destiny discussion was frustrating for me how unprepared the cast was about the latest info. I understand if somebody does not play Destiny 2 anymore, but it seems to be is in bad taste badmouthing the game without at least preparing properly for the show at least reading about Act3/Frontiers or playing it(Act 3). You speak about bungie disrespecting players being lazy with Act 3(I agree with some parts), but now I can say the same about you, I think it is disrespectful to the audience to come to a podcast unprepared. If you don't care anymore it is ok to move on to other games, but half assing something is just bad quality work.

Another great episode guys! I will admit I remember Travis in another episode being the old geezer saying “ you’ll rue the day you didn’t play concord free beta, remember the day I said it would be great” just for it to be as bland as a glass of water (and blaming hateful bigots is kind of a cop out, unless you think the gaming space is just hateful bigots. But with that said why would anyone step in the sphere? Especially those with a cool diverse cast?). Liking concord and thinking Black Myth isn’t that great is the most legacy IGN gaming news take I can think. But alas it’s on the majority for not seeing the full picture, rather than your own thinking process as usual. This is no hate on T, you just got to match his smugness I think. But you guys please check out forever winter I really think you guys might find what they’re doing as new and interesting. It might not be triple A but at this point triple A isn’t what most people want.

Prince of Persia was excellent. The map system was such a little thing that made it that much better.

The recent argument was uncomfortable to listen to. While I appreciate hearing diverse perspectives on the show, the tone of the discussion became unproductive. Both Cog and Trav contribute valuable insights, and I believe it’s important to maintain a respectful dialogue, especially when discussing colleagues. Effective communication can often be achieved through subtlety, avoiding unnecessary conflict and allowing for deeper understanding.

I like how they go on for an hour lamenting some of the narrative team being laid off and then spend the next hour talking about how bad the seasonal narrative is.

Both are right. Destiny would be better off if they released content slower and with better quality. At the same time, what they release brings joy to those who just want to play at their leisure, when they want to play Destiny. I personally am in favor of pausing and releasing another final shape, because the seasons discuss topics that are not interesting to me, so I just feel tired of the game and go somewhere else like no man sky

Bungie Managment are a bunch of freaking clowns they should have had D3 in development for years. Destiny 2 is dying and there's no D3 in development unbelievable yet here we are.

19:44 EXACTLY. i LOVE bungie, as someone who grew up on macs they were one of the only companies that made games i could actually play. but they have NEVER been had a good, strong leader with a clear unifying vision, and they ALWAYS look to pass off the blame for their failings.

Yeah sorry Travis but the Zavala crisis has been around since the Season of Haunted( the season where Solar 3.0 was introduced). Zavala and Caital were crashing out every week and even at the end he was never the same again. He’d always had his family on his mind throughout the following seasons so it couldn’t be forced if they already laid out multiple cinematics about it years prior.

Gotta disagree with Travis, Zavala's crisis of faith has been years in the making. Slowly eroding away at him.

My only gripe with Prismatic as a Titan is the lack of a Grapple Grenade. It ruined me for other subclasses ✊👀

Come on guys. Defeat the Witness? With our track record? You’re more on point with the Uub saga reference than you know. Obviously we’re gonna BEFRIEND the Witness like all the other baddies and They will look at us with their giant Pixar eyes and ask the moneyshot scene question of this expansion “Do you wanna kiss the rainbow?” Roll a montage where we raise a robot dog, get puppies because PARACAUSALITY, make pottery with the Witness sitting behind us, lovingly holding our hands, then they die in a car accident with metal pipes through their head(s) while an acoustic space version of Iris plays. That’s how we learn Prismatic and using it is how we always will remember and treasure our sweet times together with UwU-Witness bestie. You know it.

Hey E, you really buried this Podcast into the Void... last week I thought that I have not seen your guys podcast for a long time and did not see episodes on your channel anymore. YT Search found the podcast playlist on your channel and I started to watch couple of episodes back and you mention about this new channel, BUT there was no link in description.... there are plenty of other links but not for this channel :-( Today I searched again in YT and after many other "Last Word" podcast results I finally found this and it has about 30 subscribers and views. Sad thing. You guys have become my favorite and (only) Destiny podcast after DCP has gone to [redacted]. All you guys should promote this excellent podcast in your YT about and video descriptions to drive views to new channel, imo.

I have a theory about The Witness. In the raid or the mission after the raid, we actually disassemble the witness back into it's original species, and it becomes our next enemy race.

Regarding Hades. It was in early access/beta for a good year and underwent loads of changes and additions. Dianysos and Demeter weren’t in the game, gun and fist weapons didn’t exist. No weapons could be upgraded and the overall difficulty couldn’t be increased through Heat. The mirror was a lot less fleshed out as well. Not sure if it existed at the start. Was amazing to follow all that, then see the final product. Soooo excited for the sequel
