You have your riding modes , eco, Dynamic, Dynamic Pro, Road, Enduro, Enduro Pro etc., you can choose 4 of them. Additionally you have a button on the left for the menu where you can choose the following options: Windshield, DTC, Suspension, Heating etc. , all adjustable with a separate wipe on the left.

I felt no vibrations, the engine is very smooth and has a totally different sound (makes dependent). Like you said the seat is no longer adjustable, they moved the footpegs backwards a little bit, but the position is very good and if you pay more you will get the adjustable suspension so you do not have to adjust your seat.

@@adventureridingromania Good to hear about the engine. An adjustable seat is nice, maybe not for changing the distance to the ground, but between the seat and the pegs. Also, it allowed you to change the tilt of the seat. I used to ride my 1250 GS with the seat in the upper front position, and the lower back position. That way, the seat became perfectly flat. I can not see any advantage in removing the height adjustment, but i am sure it will be ok.

I think they thought that moving the footpegs to the back will solve the problem, but i have to say again, the position /riding position on the bike is very good. I am riding my 1200/1250 with the old seat on front max height and low position on the back, this will be not possible anymore.@@matsrekdal3065

@@adventureridingromania I have very long legs, so moving the pegs further back doesn't sound that great to me.... But hey, i have serious plans on buying the bike, but probably the Adventure model. Will definitely do a test ride first.

Gearbox is much smoother, quick shifter is working very good, no comparison to the 1250 GS.

The breaks are good like expected. The are made by a subsidiary of Brembo !

@@adventureridingromania I believe this was sarcasm. Also, you could find a bit less frequent place to talk about the bike. The noise of the passing cars are very disturbing and your voice is barely hearable.

The adaptive height control is optional, if you are too small/tiny maybe it would be an option (it works very well ). I am 1.90 m, so i do not need it :)!

First of all I want to thank you for your opinion. It is not a review, it is only my own first impression after a 1 h ride with the new R 1300 GS. Trust me, I do not waste my time. Next time I will do it better ✌️.

Complete different bike 🍺

The ride Quality is good, they mounted deflectors on the windshield and on the bike nearby the shield. Engine is wow, something totally new and powerful.
