No auto tune, No BS.....JUST PURE TALENT. God knows I miss this man. I wish I could go back and relive every time I saw him. From 1968 to my last concert in Tewantin in 2019. Over 100 concerts and I would give the world for just one more. John has been part of our lives for half a century...he deserves the rest. I miss him every day.................... The Voice

Isn’t it a pity the Australian public didn’t appreciate the talent of John Farnham years ago before whispering Jack, even when with Little River Band, they didn’t see it. With 5he grace of God we may have the opportunity to show him the respect and appreciation he deserves as a very talented singer. Yes, Glen (RIP) and the writers came along at the right time for him, hopefully he is able to grace the the stage one more time. FOOTNOTE: He could have gone to the USA with Sammy Davis and made Billions, like the BEGEES, however, he stayed here and stuck through the hard times.
Whether he was ever sings again or not, he is an Icon of Australian music...i would go and listen to him read the phone book, hes the complete showman...
Amazing for 70yrs old!!! So glad I saw him in 2019 when he last visited Perth. It was probably his last WA concert without knowing it at the time.
When and where was this concert because I don't remember him singing these different versions ? If it wasn't in Melbourne that would explain why

I have loved this song and John performing it since he first recorded almost 40 years ago. Love you John and thank you for your voice and love. I call John the 8th Wonder of the World - a natural God given talent which he shared with us so graciously and humbly since 1967. Love you John, Jilly, Rob, James and family ❤❤❤

What a freaking wonder! It always amazes me to see the same faces in his band all the time, too. Some of them have been with him since the 80s (if not before?). How many people could say they've worked with/for the same people for 40 years? It says a lot about the environment he nurtures around himself.
Neil Diamond is another who is like that. A lot his folks have been with him since the early 70's. They are like a family. Neil has Parkinson's and had to stop touring during his 50th anniversary tour in 2017. 😢 He still had his voice at that time. It broke his heart not to make it to Australia, which he loves. I live in the US so I wasn't familiar with John until recently, but man, I'm glad I know him now. Have watched some interviews with him and he is a lovely person. AMAZING voice and showmanship.
That makes me want to get to know his music a little better. Thanks 😉
