Wait a minute. You just made me observe something that I’ve never noticed before in vampire lore. In some versions of the lore, vampires are given immortality by consuming some of the blood of their sire, after which they die and are resurrected as powerful, nigh immortal vampires. In Christian tradition, the blood of Jesus Christ, and specifically his sacrifice, is what grants people access to eternal life, aka immortality. In order to access this immortality, we must die to our past lives before being reborn, after which we will access Jesus’ realm when our mortal bodies die. It’s as if the vampire lore is simply an inversion of Christian tradition.

@@belalabusultan5911 At this moment, I am confused by your statement. Did I offend you? At the end of the day, it’s literally an observation. Furthermore, I don’t think it takes much of a leap to say that Western vampiric lore has been heavily influenced by the culture that spawned it. Said culture has a long history of following various forms of Christianity. Even implying that I am a Satanist, which I’m not, still reveals a world view that is heavily influenced by some Abrahamic religion, seeing that Satan is the bad guy in Christianity and Islam. I even stated at the end of original post that vampire lore is basically inverted Christian lore. Can I assume by your name that you are Muslim?

​@@BulletTheEnforcer - I ws not offended, I was just trying to figure out the mentality that can think like you did. - I am an Atheist, an ex-muslim, left the faith when I was 14. - (Satanist) is not an insult, these people really exist as a religion, even having official temle and official church (each house of worship follows a different Satanic religion) in USA, you can look up (the temple of Satan) and (The Church of Satan), other names you might find are (Occult) as in the people who believe in a literal Satan and follow a reverse version of Christianity, and (Laveyan) as in Atheists who don't believe Satan and ironically they are the largest Satanic religion, they call themselves (Satanist) to spite Christians. - the Islamic name for Satan is (Iblis), and the word (Shaitan) means (Devil - Demon) so it's a race not a name for one demon, but in English; the name of the Devil in Christianity is Satan.

@@belalabusultan5911 I kind of figured. Also, I am aware of the name for إبليس او الشيطان. I studied Arabic and Islam in college. Sorry if I came across as defensive; I was preparing for a sermon assault claiming that I was going to hell. I definitely take a more academic approach to religion now.
