Thank you, I hope it helped give you a little feel for the area (minus the heat that day)! Orlando can be a pretty fun and interesting place to live. Do your research on the ideal regions that allow you to avoid needing to deal with all of the out-of-town visitor traffic on a daily basis (basically the I4 theme park corridor), and you can get around the city quite easily. Ask a local where anything is, and it's usually "about 30 minutes away".

Thankfully, my traveling companion took care of that for me! My grandfather was a professional musician/entertainer, so as a child, I learned the importance of tipping those who entertain us. Most entertainers don't earn enough to make a living from their talents but enjoy seeing how their abilities bring moments of joy to those around them.

My pleasure, thank you for the comment! St. Augustine is such an interesting and unique area of Florida; I think you're going to have a wonderful visit. It will be warm for sure, but probably not as warm as August, perfect beach weather. If you enjoy gelato, do yourself a favor and pop into Café Del Hidalgo to cool off with a nice treat (I had their lemon-basil ricotta gelato, and it was amazing!). You can see where it's at in the video at 15:07 (the stone building on the left with the dark brown balcony).

I apologize for the motion quality of this particular video. Every walk is a learning opportunity for me as I try different setups to improve the videos I produce for you. This one…well, let's just say I won't be trying my camera's new internal stabilization method again anytime soon! Despite my feelings on motion gone awry, I decided to share the video because there were still interesting things to see in it (and I know some of you enjoy these little behind-the-scenes on how things progress). I will return to St. Augustine soon and record a much better/stable walk for you!
