Hi I'm Ben the creator of Quizamp.😁
I've been making quiz videos for about 3 years over on my other UA-cam channel Quizzes4U. And although they are great and I will continue to make those, I wanted to make a channel that was more like a traditional quiz show on TV, in a format that works for UA-cam. So I've created Quizamp.
Quizamp is the game show where you, the viewers are the contestants.
Why is it called Quizamp? It's a mix of the words quiz and amplify. The aim is to amplify your knowledge by playing this fun and educational quiz game.
There's also lots of interactive quizzes to play over on my website quizamp.com (link below)

Can you beat this General Knowledge Trivia Quiz?
This is a mixed general knowledge quiz. The aim of the quiz is to score 30 points or more and take on the "Star Question".
This one is not difficult. So, if you can score 30 points of more and answer the star question, then you have beaten the Quizamp!
There's 5 rounds of 5 questions each worth up to two points a question. Then there's a rapid fire bonus round of 10 questions that are worth one point each. So you challenge is to score 30 or more out of a possible 60 points and then answer the star question. Are you up for the challenge?

Hello Ben, we have been watching Quizamp and Quizzes4u for a long time and we like it. It would be nice if you could include a short reason/meaning/context/explanation of the answers so we can learn from them. We suggest a short sentence at the moment the answer is revealed (to avoid having to pause and google the "why" the answer is like that). Thank you.
Hi. Thanks for commenting, and it's great to hear you've been a long time fan of my quizzes. I did try what you are suggesting a long while back on some videos, but it wasn't very popular as it delayed the time between the questions. I guess when viewers know many of the answers, they don't want to see an explanation after each one. There's also the time factor for me adding those. As it is each video takes me a long time to make, and I'm trying to make them for two channels. I do everything on my own. Anyway, thanks for the feedback 😀.
Not a champ only 25 points. Got 1 point in Africa but I expected that. I do better in Asia. Failed my section on Africa in geography and history. To many name changes for me. Since I was in school the Belgium Congo changed to Zaire and back to Dem.Rep. Of Congo. Others were Swaziland Upper Volta. I know there are others but I can’t remember them. Really liked this video❤.

I didn’t bother keeping score. I answer before the multiple choices were shown. I not missed three questions.
Another great quiz Ben.Thank you. I started and ended with two 10's to achieve a total of 38. Nailed the star question with Moby Dick. Led Zep and Deep Purple and Pink Floyd.remain faves. There are many others from the 60's onwards. I am owned by a 20+ year old Tuxedo female feline.

Happy 10th episode! Hubby and I are really enjoying them and very much look forward to playing. We do occasionally stop the video when we disagree on the answer to "discuss", however, we are not keeping score on which one of us is correct more often. Probably good strategy to stay happily married! 🙃

Great job! Not sure about the pictogram rounds 🤔 I thought a pictogram was a unit of measurement 🤣😳. There's a ton of new quiz channels popping up every day, mostly copying each other, or older channels previously successfully videos, and somehow putting out a video every day. I couldn't possibly make a video every day, and keep researching questions, recording, voiceover etc. That's why I chose this game format, as it's difficult for anyone else to copy. Anyway, thanks for playing 😁

btw, "Classic Rock" is an oxymoron. My favorite band from the era is the Carpenters, NOT rock, despite what my baptist high-school art teacher said. All of my favorite bands beside the Carpenters play jazz from the 20's to the 40's.

@@quizamp That’s correct, male Calicos are not common. Calicos are not a breed, it’s purely luck that they have that coat colour. I think my cat has gorgeous markings.
