Similar steps can also be done to fix change in White Balance.

Peter McKinnon flying to Alberta for only one shot, Sam Kolder skydiving into blue hole and flying with a Heli over the Jungle in Thailand. Scenes like this are inspiring me and are just breathtaking, but at the same time we are sitting in front of the screen thinking to ourselfs: “they got the money to do this crazy stuff and capture it with gear used in Hollywood. No wonder its insane” Truth ...

I'm in shock that there's no post production auto exposure plug in 🤯
Thanks dude!!!
Thanks 👍👍🙂
I was hoping Premiere would have an auto luma stabiliser. Has that been introduced in recent updates?
I have 2h long interview, and light changes in room, is there now some automated way to do it?
Thankyou
Great video! But is there a way to do the same in Final Cut Pro?
Thanks for this one. You are under rated so much
I've been using keyframes with exposure correction for quite a while since I usually leave my GH5 on auto-exposure because I do a lot of 'run and gun' shooting. But sometimes I can't figure out the wild exposure swings of the GH5, especially when the camera angle and lighting isn't changing. I was hoping that there was a way to simply find a good exposure point in my clips and tell Premier to match the same exposure for the entire clip rather than having to tinker with the exposure setting and keyframes.
Did you find a solution?
The best way to avoid exposure jumps is to set your 'Metering mode' (Fn3 button) to Multi-Metering. I accidentally left mine on centre-weighted as I filmed a band last night; walking around with a gimbal testing a new custom mode, I was catching bright and dark patches and got loads of sudden exposure jumps. While shooting, I thought it was the fault of the lens or the HEVC mode I was testing.
@@scamp_media Use multi-metering.
@@liveshotsvideoproductions Thanks for the reply! I actually switched to multi-metering recently after upgrading to the GH6 and that indeed helps!
thank you man
you just saved my life, I'm editing a project and some footage has this crazy light changes!. Thank you so much
Glad I could help! Hope your project is going well.
Could you post the raw file?
What Anamorphic Filter for a Samsung note 20 ultra?
You can use the same Anamorphic Lense, but there is no Case for the Note 20 Ultra yet so you might have to use the included mount in the meantime. A fitting case will be released for sure though since the S20 Ultra already got a case.
<3 Thank You
great video. annd also l like the broll that on intro.❤
funny how you tell people how to fix whitebalance while your shot is waaayy off white balance when you are talking hahaha.
Actually white balance was on point on the raw material and the end result looks that way because of the colour grade and i liked it that way. Btw: this Video was about fixing fluctuating Exposure ^^
Thanks for this, I wold love to see the DJ video, hope you release it :)
Thank you! this video was very helpful for me as a beginner. You are a natural instructor, might consider making a course. Looking forward to more postings!
Thank you for your comment. It means alot!
keep up the good work man.
Great video! Do you think playing with the keyframe transition speeds would be better than adding more keyframes?
Hey man, thanks alot! Problem is, that a Camera doesn't adjust white balance linear. Most of the time it will stay mostly the same some time and then change rapidly at one point. Therefore I dont really think it would work that well ;)
@@Ordiscene yeah i tried it with my clip. Its just better to add a lot of keyframes and have a LOT of patience 😅
Thank you! I accidentally had my camera on auto white balance and this is very helpful!
Great tip!
thanks man
