what do you call the move in 0:40 ?
Nobody ever showed it to me, came across it in about 2005 on my own, we called it the “hook of doom” then, others that do it or similar that I’ve seen over the years also call it “east meets west”, “pillory hook” among others.
The first one is actually cool to get out of a full mount
I’ve never seen some one break posture from full guard like that

Thanks, generally IBJJF rules for competing. We have to modify takedowns and throws for BJJ because we have to be careful with exposing the back on some throws and not rolling through into a bad position, that is commonly done in Judo as the match ends once a throw scores ippon. In BJJ you need to end up on top and hold top position for 3 seconds and you only score 2 points and it’s just the start of the match.
