Stayed there beginning of the summer, great location but the new toilet/ shower bloke gets very hot and stinks a bit from back flo..plus sewage works just up the road stinks aswell

great - thank you for that review. We have been looking at that campsite for a while. We used to wildcamp along Saltgrass Lane but its not great and the locals (rightly so) are getting fed up so its going to be stopped. Will get booking Lytton as I can see its a straight walk into town for the pubs. Safe travels - thank you

Stay on a campsite why should councils provide overnight parking !!

The Council will just fail on this. Look at it like this way. Two motorhomes drive into the car park. Both pay any overnight parking fee if required. Owner one draws blinds and gets out of van locks it up and walks away. Owner 2 draws blinds turns lights off and goes to sleep. During night parking attendant arrives. Notices two motorhomes with drawn blinds. Gives two tickets . What is the ticket being given for. Sleeping in the van. Where is the proof that someone is sleeping in the van. One van has somebody in the van and one van is unoccupied. The only way the attendant will be able to see if someone is in the attended van is by way of knocking to see if he gets an answer. No answer it must be unoccupied AND LEGALLY PARKED. Now at three in the morning a knocking at the door. The occupier answers the door. You cant sleep here says the attendant. Im not asleep am I (How can the person be asleep they are standing talking at the door) The attendant will need to show that they observed an occupier fast asleep. Blinds pulled would prevent this. Now the owner of the vehicle parked overnight unattended sees a ticket on the van for sleeping in the van. They appeal the ticket the attendant will need to supply the evidence that they saw someone asleep. Then what I have stated before applies. The only solution is a no commercial vehicle or classified Motorhome vehicle parked during specific hours. Cornwall tried the No Sleeping overnight and this failed.. There is no offence of sleeping in a vehicle. Any bye law will need to prove finding a sleeping person.

You have made a very nice film. We know Monaco all too well. We are in the U.S. and the last time we were there, we met friends from Horsham and stayed 10 days. Be assured that visiting each and every town from Monaco to St. Tropez IS something that has to be well planned,, yet, we did it. :) The first thing we observed was that, for all of the new construction that - never ends, the Gare de Monaco appears to have not been remodeled since the late 1970's or early 1980's. It is a bit too "retro" for some. :). Again, a very good film. :) Antoine
