ok i love the drums live and would love to hear them in that setting, but am i the only one who wants the officially released version to be the same as the unreleased? idk, i’ve been listening to this song for a long time at this point and i think its current production is so intricate and perfect and brings the sound in waves. the drums are definitely energizing but would work better live imo! i need quieter drums in the version i blast on late night open-window drives so i can get let the genius reverb carry me away 🥲 (that said, I’ll be excited for the release of any version! i have the unreleased version on a cd that lives in my car player so that will always remain an option)
