My family and I also happened to arrive there before that typhoon signal was issued. Therefore, we wasted no time to get a ride-hailing service from the airport to the hotel we were staying in at Hong Kong Island after retrieving our baggage. Some of our plans did not get fulfilled during our trip which was a bit of a bummer. Thank you for sharing this video by the way.

Beautiful! I've flown into Hong Kong many times, both the old and new airports, and I can't recall ever seeing such interesting geography. The coastlines were especially gorgeous. Either I never flew that approach vector, or I wasn't paying attention (more likely). Thanks for sharing.
