I have a couple of DLC-centered runs here on the channel :) John Cassidy in Point Lookout (loved that run), Myron in OWB, and a Talon Merc in Lonesome Road. Had a lot of fun with each one and I do plan on including more DLCs in the future!

I'd love to experience the Fallout universe in Mexico City, maybe even get a Raul cameo out of it. And according to the Fallout 3 Raul Tejada run, you're totally right :D

@ btw i think you should ban fast travel theres a mod that adds the humvee and the midwest brotherhood has the hummer which is also a humvee you would use that to travel locations faster

The way the game explains it is that Benny uses a Pulse Grenade to incapacitate a Securitron and employs Emily Ortal from the FotA to help with some reverse engineering. It's a pretty big plot point that we learn in passing and only if we choose to talk to Benny or Ortal about it. In my op, a side quest to help Yes Man with further infiltrating the Securitron network or exposing Yes Man to House (depending on which route you wanna go, of course) since a plot point of that magnitude feels a little unfinished. Might be cut content for all I know! The funny thing about that, though, is that you actually can destroy Yes Man. If you take out the Securitron he's in with a critical hit using an Energy Weapon, he never jumps into another Securitron. I'm gonna have to implement that into one of my challenge runs someday . And hey, free energy cells & scrap metal :P Yeah, there's no great option for Hanlon and I kinda like that. It's a great moral dilemma for an NCR-supporting Courier because both options have equal appeal, depending on your Courier's morality. Exposing Hanlon definitely earns them some points in Oliver's book while keeping Hanlon's secret is, as he says, the right thing to do if you care about the well-being and reputation of the Rangers... whom he kinda set up to take the fall should he be exposed. I think the closest thing to a good outcome for Hanlon & the Rangers is that when you side with either House or go Independent & keep Hanlon's secret, that he becomes a Senator of Redding and goes on the warpath against the Kimball Administration. Fully agree about the NCR-BoS. Cnl. Moore herself hates the BoS and I always interpreted the diplomatic solution as Moore trying to smear the Courier's name.

And exposing yesman/helping get further into the securitron network without actually having killed house yet does sound like it'd be cut content Hanlon becoming a senator and opposing Kimball's administration seems like the ending where he can actually do some stuff to redeem himself rather than just getting to settle into a quite retirement life unlike the many people he got killed for no reason For the NV BoS-how many of the people in there are actually good people? Veronica for sure, McNamara seems ok but a coward and unwilling to actually do what would need to be done to prevent the chapter being completely wiped out, Christine seems like she was ok too, but she's no longer part of the BoS really, just after Elijah. I can't really think of any other named characters that aren't massive dickheads in the NV BoS

And I do remember how they set it up how they got Yesman started to begin with, but not an explanation of how he hops over to other securitrons, especially once Benny is out of the picture Turning Yesman to ash/goo permanently kills him? Interesting, sounds like a strange way to possibly intentionally bug out the game and prevent it from being able to be completed Hanlon as senator to oppose Kimball feels like the ending where he can actually redeem himself, unlike the one where he retires to his ranch and gets to live peacefully unlike all the people he got pointlessly killed. How many people in the NV BoS are actually decent people? Veronica is for sure, McNamara maybe but he's a coward, Christine maybe but she's stuck in the Sierra Madre and never coming back, and I can't think of any other named characters in the NV BoS that aren't jerks

Not sure, I see both comments here on my end! Yeah, the Hidden Valley BoS aren't good folks by large. They're not shy about accosting people when it comes to all things tech related; the West Coast sabotaging the NCR's gold mines is also, y'know, not a good look for them. It's why my personal canon Courier has no issue with following through with House's orders to take them out. They're a bunch of terrorists when you get right down to it. Lyons Pride BoS & Midwestern BoS are good people, but they're splinter factions for a reason.

@@MidlothianOdyssey Hopefully this comment stays visible, the other two aren't showing for me when looking at this reply chain. The biggest thing that holds me back from hitting the boom button on them every time (aside from the shop in there, but those items go to vendertron if the store owner is dead) is Veronica and how it would upset her a lot, even if she's already left the BoS during her quest. Narratively though usually for most runs it's help Veronica, do her quests, and when McNamara and the others still want to remain shut in loons and wait until they all crumble to dust you just give up on them...and then when that paladin group goes and kills the Followers of the Apocalypse that Veronica met it's basically a coin flip of whether to wipe them out or not, with Veronica staying in the Lucky 38/outside until it is done

If you're referring to the one on Nexus, it looks neat. Going by the comments on that mod there isn't much to it; I'll test it out because it does have enough for what I wanna do for the Midwestern run. Be cool to start in a new location too!
