Kos looks boring
Well Lambi is full of resorts and the livelier part is towards the end of the video along the waterfront. It does have it's charm...
I did this walk today - thanks for the tip! Following the trail is easy (some kind soul has painted blue dots to follow), and it's only a couple of kms each way, but it's not the easiest walk in the world. We'll worth it for the views though.
I am glad the video helped you reach this wonderful place. It's true that it can be a demanding walk especially in the summer heat. With plenty of water, sunscreen and a hat i still think it's manageable and well worth it... One of those hidden gems for the more adventurous amongst you... You could try going to Marathonda or Vathy (I made videos of those too). The walk to Vathy is probably the easiest of the three while Marathonda is probably the longest but it's on a relatively well maintained dirt road...

It depends. There have been years when they have been present all year round. This year they have been absent during most of the summer. There's no best time really when they are present.
