6 months out from gastric sleeved. 68 year old man. Noticed one week a month i gain 5 lbs. Then by end of month i loose those 5 lbs plus 3 to 5 lbs. If i eat over 13 oz food in a hr. Im almost guaranteed to throw up. So i come to conclusion you have to learn what works for our individual self by age and activity . I continue to weigh my food and count protiens carbs and fats. Never counted calories. Lost 120 lbs and at the weight my surgeon said i should be for my body built. Like to loose 20 more lbs by my year sleeve anniversary in 6 months😊. No regrets and no more b/p or heart medication or insulin. Heard good things on bariactric surgery in mexico but i had been sleeved 50 miles from my home in Indiana with no complications.

So the lesson is... don't have weight loss surgery. I lost more weight working with my nutritionist and dieticians getting ready for my Sleeve than i did afterwards.
