OK, so the story has 2 endings, a good one and a bad one, you got the bad ending because you did not do Moldorc castle. Also you did not get the woodpile chip, so you missed out some cool weapons, there was also a weapon in the blue coal bag, I don't think you got.

I believe killing any of the ant queens will stop the respective ants of the one you killed to stop spawning all together

You should make the brood mother armor, once you upgrade it enough it adds poison AND venom damage to ALL of your weapons, also build even just grass walls around the mixers before you start them makes them SO much easier I use mushroom walls and I don’t even have to fight

Btw you need to farm the brood mother to get the parts for the mantis kabob, OR kill it once and use the super duper to duplicate the parts if you have enough raw science
