Huntington Beach Pier 8-2-24
Down at the pier again today to watch the pro practice. Here's what it was like. Long ass video today had so many clips i just got tired of cutting so here's where I ended.

At the beach today not much out there but looked fun. Got set up and forgot my video card for my canon. Flew the drone for 30min then went home grabbed my card ran back down and got this, here's what it was like catching waves with Everyday Surfers.

Saying farewell to a great friend Craig Putman, he was a local surfer here in Huntington beach. 90's Cove Crew! He was one of the coolest and best Surfers I have ever met. You will be missed buddy.

Everybody rips at HB. They're all pros. I consider myself to be a strong skill level surfer, but I am outclassed at HB every time I go there. These kids do 360 airs on 1 ft waves. Meanwhile, I weigh almost 200 lbs. LOL.

I got my first custom board from Carl Hayward back in the day and took it out right there. Now it's a tradition, every time I get a new board I have to surf south side of the pier before I take it out anywhere else 🤷🏻♂️

I start the clips as a person is padding for the wave, or like you said as a set comes in I’ll film as I fly towards them. I don’t film continuously it drains the battery and gives me a lot more video to go through when I get home. I have more clips of the day what does your board look like. Thanks again for watching 🤙
