Quick, Easy, and Nutritious Ayurvedic Dhal | Delicious 30-Minute Recipe
Join us as Myra, a master Yogini and founder of the Hale Pule School of Ayurveda and Yoga teaches us how to prepare a delicious and nutritious Mung Bean Dhal. This simple-to-make dish not only tastes wonderful but also provides nutritional benefits. Myra has dedicated a significant portion of her life to practicing and teaching these ancient disciplines. Her journey into Ayurveda began as a quest for self-discovery, helping her overcome serious illnesses and regain balance and joy in her life.
Follow along and learn how to make this healing recipe!
Ingredients for 4 people:
½ cup split mung beans
½ tsp mineral salt
1 tsp ghee
½ tsp fenugreek powder
½ tsp cumin seeds, lightly ground
2 whole cloves or ¼ tsp clove powder
1 tsp fresh grated or finely chopped ginger
¾ - 1 cup of water (adjust to desired thickness)
Cooking Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a pressure cooker and cook for 15-20 minutes, or in a covered pot on the stove for 25-30 minutes.
Adjust the water to achieve your preferred thickness.
Enjoy this nourishing dhal that supports your digestive health!

I love this and defo relate to travelling effecting my cycle - I have been travelling for the last few months and i had an extra long cycle with much worse symptoms this time. Trying to get back to a regular symptom free cycle <3

The piece about fertility awareness provided so much insight and information, about the cervix and how it changes throughout our cycle depending on the phase we our in. I’m hoping to conceive soon, so I hope to be able to apply this knowledge soon!

I am going to properly slow down and be mindful of eating slowly and with a more conscious presence! I kind of knew I was more hungry in luteal stage but didn't realise I should be eating more and not over exercising so that that I can absorb the nutrients in the best way.
