How do you receive cash payments? And factor taxes? I’m a COTA doing research to start my private practice. I have liability insurance and business license

I think it's important to note that the CAPS course isn't something you can log into after work or on the weekends when you have the time etc. It's live, online. Yes, you can do one day, then take the 2nd class on another, later date. If you work, you'll have to take off of work. That is what is stopping me from doing the CAPS.

I very much want to start a business. I miss my patients but not clinical practice. I yearn for financial, clinical and time freedom. While I'm working on my health, I'm striving to think how I can work remotely from anywhere and help women. I yearn to coach women battling chronic illness like me. I feel strongly there's a need.

Hello. I have experience in home mods but looking into the HAST program and the possibility of developing a home mods practice. My concern is that I am no longer able to transfer clients and/or lift equipment due to back issues needing to stop working in home care. With a home mods practice, do you still find you need to physically assist clients?
