6 x 5 min intervals at near full-gas. Heart rate is holding steady at 174. Should be spinning at a higher rate, but the gear is 53 x 14.

Although I've ridden up Mount Baldy many times, I've never done in the winter. The weather was near ideal. I started at 10:00AM, and finished at 3:15PM.

i have a similar setup, but experiance some BB noise now. did you came along with similar issue?
Hi, How comfortable is you 695? I use to have as 2011 one it was an SR and it was maybe too rigid for me! I was destroyed after long rides... but today I miss this frame and I may buy a new one... but not the SR one!!!
I would not characterize this as a harsh riding bike. Stiff, but not jarring to the body. It comes with 3 different grades of elastometers for the seat mast, so you can get a little relief that way if you find it too harsh. Good luck to you.

Started at the corner of Sierra Madre Ave and Glendora Mountain Road (GMR). Headed up GMR, and at the junction, took Glendora Ridge Road to Baldy Village and beyond to the ski lifts. Was there last Sunday, taking the same route. Great ride!
