You don’t even need a kayak there…. At the 2 culverts on 136 there is redfish, flounder and catan… lot of finger mullet and crabs,,,, and tons of shrimp but you can’t keep the shrimp, I think it’s a nursery

Man that place brings back so many memories of when I was a kid. Every time a cold front would come in that was a spot to fish, but Mudbridge, Spillway, starry, all of that was our stomping grounds for so many years when I was younger. The legends of the other side of the fence😂game wardens ran us off more than once🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
