    Great interview Shawn. I was on the edge of my seat when you asked him about work visas and travel. I know most of my colleagues simply say they are tourists to avoid all the red tape. On the rare occasion, I'll get work visas for my crew.

    Did he say 15 hotel shots per day? This has to be an error. 10 per day would normally be max and 6-8 per day for high end work. I think you said 15 shots per day for him. Id like to clarify this.

    Lovely interview, very in depth questions and great answers by Brandon. Technical questions about his misfortune with the Canon R5 sensor shake, isn’t that just the image stabilization that should be off? Thank you!

    • @brandonbarre3037
      @brandonbarre3037 Рік тому

      Hey Oscar. Unfortunately it was not that easy a fix, and believe me I tried every setting combination.The sensor movement happened only while tethered and using live view, and it was a known issue for Canon. It appears that Canon may have finally addressed it as one doesn't hear about it anymore. I am still patiently waiting for an upgrade to the 5DS though!

      @@brandonbarre3037 thanks a lot for your reply, that is definitely a bummer, that’s a big oversight that one would hope they would catch before releasing new model. I generally feel like architectural photography is not really taken into account when developing new cameras, it’s all burst rates, buffer speeds and cramming 2000 autofocus points. Anyway, I admire the quality of your work and your approach to what seems like very complex subjects. I mean this as a compliment, I think no one would know from looking at your work if you decided to switch to the newest and bestest medium format. Have a great night Oscar

    Very misleading. Of course nobody is gonna be out on the streets at the crack of dawn in summer and maybe a weekend. Sure a bunch of parking lots r empty since the business doesn't open at like 630 am. I live near the corner of hwy 97 and highway 33 and there was barely a difference.

    Great video. The footage is taken right as the sun is cresting the mountain, which would put it at about 6:30 in the morning. Still makes a big difference, but 6:30am on a Sunday on any give week wouldn't equate to much traffic and full parking lots.
