Bring back the 5 week open, it was a better test of fitness I could compare myself with others. Now I have to pay an additional 50 bucks to compare my self against less people cause those said others all don't sign up to get a more complete test then just 3 workouts.

I thought this was supposed to be a xc ski trainer? You would not do those moves when double poling
Well, the SkiErg is to XC skiing as the RowErg is to rowing, to a degree. Similarities, re muscle groups used and cardio work etc, but the differences exist also. Both Ergs are kind of separate sports / activities in their own right.
The difference exists because you make them exist. If you use the core like you would create forward momentum, ie xc ski, then you’d be using the machine as it’s intended for xc ski. CrossFit uses this machine for the purpose of CrossFit

OR; find an exercise you can perform without crazy momentum so you build real strength & muscle so you can maybe do a real muscle up one day 🤔🤔
