Rocket League MapMaker and Solo Developer on Project Stickman
Hi There,
I'm Simple Shark, most people just call me Shark. I'm a Rocket League MapMaker who has made 75+ maps including Kickball, We Were Here, Decaball, and many more! I've also worked on maps for Gold Rush, NRG, and Psyonix/Epic Games. I make tutorials on how to make Rocket League maps, show you how my maps work internally, and show you all my maps before they're out! Sometimes I post random games that I felt like playing just because I'm here to have fun.
On top of that, I'm also a solo developer on my own Movement-Based FPS called Project Stickman! I post devlogs every couple months and stream working on it when I can.

I Turned Rocket League Into a Third Person Shooter!
Welcome to Team Deathmatch in Rocket League! Using old code from Dogfights, I improved on it and added a few Quality of Life adjustments. I added healthbars, a cleaner HUD, and optimized the internal code a lot. From that, I was able to turn Rocket League into a Third Person Shooter! This map worked out better than I could've hoped for and I'm super happy about it!

On top of the release of this map, we thought of doing a TDM custom map tournament with a prize pool for the winners and rotating the maps each round. How many sound interested in either playing or watching a TDM tournament?

There a reason that boost shoots instead of the rumble button or another binding?
Boost being the ammo count works well in terms of gameplay so you can't infinitely fire, and it's an already replicated value across the network so the shots and hit registration is synced well. As for rumble, the input for most players is push left thumbstick, which is hard to hold for extensive periods of time. And it also allows us to add rumble on top of this like teleports, boot, etc.
I wish this was a LTM!

Thanks! As for Simple Scam, a certain RL UA-camr by the name of Lethamyr told everyone in a video we did together to spam my comments with Simple Scam so the name would stick. I prefer Scample Shark myself, and I thought it was a one time thing but apparently not
