Hey! As far as I remember I monitor from the sound interface that goes into my DAW not directly from the Strymon. I could totally do that but then wont be able to hear the modulation effects thats after the Iridium.

Just play the beat, dude. No need to trick it up. Just play a straight beat. It throws a monkey wrench into what I'm working on when you go to the toms or start riding the cymbal.

I have a Bjarton from 1984, when they were under Italian ownership. The sound is absolutely gorgeous with deep resonance. It dominates a room when I play it.
