what would be the setup for arcanists? how do you reach crit cap?

As a sorc block tank in Cyrodiil this CP is a staple. It procs stamina/magicka restore weapon enchants, procs Escapist's Poison and procs Critical Surge as well. Basically you have a tank that never dies with good sustain

It’s also stacks with other sets that also do proc damage from blocking. That cp seems to help be a buff for those sets. I play with these all the time.

Draugrkin can boosts it... Templar ultimate from restoring light doubles it. All buffs like +% damage done boosts it. An it does proc weapon enchant!!! For example absorb health every 2 sec with infused weapon trait. So its self heal...

Its actually pretty good for 1vx with escapist poisons. Getting hit gives you passive cc immunity and it immobilizes the enemy its the only effect in the game that can do that.

It’s very strong for dueling, particularly for DK and bash builds vs direct dmg specs like nb and sorc

absolutely correct, and regarding PVP...yeah i tried it, along with Harbinger + Twin Sisters and Spiked Bone Shield up...and I managed to annoy my opponent while he continued to burst me down. sorry...this ain't it :(

It is not good in pvp either sadly, for pvp you need to have both offensive and defensive blue cp so theres at least 10 slotables that take priority.

I’ve seen it used very rarely in PvP with dot sets such as dragons appetite and dragurkins grip

interesting, can you test Pain's Refuge? Heard it's bugged and you get the full value every time, unsure if it's true tho and idk how to test it

Can it be used to proc status effects?

You mentioned the inability to back-bar a sword and shield due to not having a reliable DoT to proc a crusher enchant. This is a bit of a stretch. While it is true that maintaining the debuff is difficult with a sword and shield, not having a crusher enchant won't make or break a dungeon/trial run. Nobody has ever asked me where my ice staff was as a tank, but I have gotten questions about not having a sword and shield. Plus, there are other ways to reduce enemy resistance such as from sets and some class skills/passives. Being 2-3k short of the armor cap isn't that big of a deal.

All I can focus on is that spaulder being off the whole time 🥴, good cooking tho homie 🤝

How about cost reduction for stamina, would it make it better for a full blocking build?

there was video from Hyper and tankclub about this. What i can suggest is always look at your own gameplay in esologs or rewatch replay. if you are out of combat yes Reduction just win cuz regen from jewe dont work. For trash fight again Reduction will be better cuz in trash fight u use range taunt x3 or x4 later chains + wall + pulsar + shield maybe all mag. but For boss well it depends cuz there can be situation where you use taunt wall ele sus (which is free 0 cost) and spam vampire drain (3s duration where u pay for initial cast) , i guess it depends on which skill you cast and how often. I like mixed setup 1-2 reduction rest mag regen.

Im running 1 harmony + 2 infused cost reduction on my dungeon tank. The big burst of recovery is nice. But the synergies in dungeons are not reliable enough to go triple harmony

One thing I just realized is the numbers for the passive is for 1 synergy but eh they equal each other out because they end up being the same :). Colds are fun :(

I liked AB on a 2bar HA Dk. It was not that strong being unoptimized but... still reliable in any PvE content. Switched back to Storm Master after the patch came out, but it seems it could do now in any circumstances other than simple exploration (due to inability to fire off single target, so WBs without adds will just laugh) :D

Banner recovery is not that problem, is actually good work they did there. Just small improvements are needed. The skill is good

One thing that didn't get mentioned is though this testing was done in a setting where everything was "perfect" the new Azure is far, far easier to keep up at its max proc speed. This isn't super important with groups stacking upwards of 6 Azures right now but just something to keep in mind...

Well, you say you don't need the mag sustain, but let's say you want to repurpose your jewelry traits / enchants / food / mundus for something else, then the Torc of Tonal Constancy works well for sustain.
