I remove the seeds. Cuts the moistur way down. Squeeze water from cucumbers prior to putting them in. Less maintenance.
Can I use Wheat bran? We don't have access to rice bran,but lots of wheat bran.

Followed this recipe to make the salmon today. Paired it with a cabbage slaw with sesame vinegarette and miso soup. It turned out sooooo so so good, thank you for the easy instruction. Cooking on a pan with parchment paper was a little worrying at first but the flavor it imparted to the salmon was really good.

Can we put in freezer after seasoning with salt for long term storage ?
Thank you for your comment. Yes, you can keep it in the fridge. Use less salt. If you are eating for breakfast, move it to a freezer at night, then it will be defrosted by next morning.

Super helpful thank you. I make curry often but this is first time making Japanese curry with cubes. It looks thicker on the plate. Did you add a roux thickener or does it thicken more on its own?
Thank you for your comment! In the video (after 15 minutes cooking ) the texture is rather thin but if you cook longer over low heat and leave it for a while, it gets thicker naturally. People says Japanese curry gets tastier in the next day.
