My unpopular mom opinion is that it's okay to let your baby fuss (not scream) for a few minutes. Especially when they are trying to fall asleep or are waking up. Sometimes what you think is crying is just their way of falling/ going back to sleep and you running in to grab them right away is just disturbing them

Definitely agree with the contact napping, but for me this only worked until around 4 months then my bubba started catnapping even on me! While the long naps lasted they were awesome for having downtime or getting computer work done
