Decoupage a Fall Pumpkin, quick & easy craft using only 3 things
For this project, we used a store bought pumpkin and decoupaged a paper tea towel onto the surface with Debi’s Liquid Patina as the glue medium. This was a recycle because we used this pumpkin last year with a different tea towel pattern. So, just painted over last years pattern with Annie Sloan Old Ochre and decoupaged again. @@abuelitap65 Hi, Pauline! We always have best results with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint®️Laminate takes a bit more than usual for the paint to adhere but still pretty simple process. Clean well, sand a bit, not too deep, just enough to scuff the surface, then paint a very light coat and let dry overnight. Then another light coat and let dry well. If that looks good, you can wax to seal. Sometimes you need a third coat. The process takes longer but well worth it!! Any questions, let us know. On the larger and more complicated mouldes I use a brayer to go over the clay and then taking advatage of the micro rim to clean up the excess....for me, it works .

Thank you! We used air-dry clay for the trimming castings. They are so flexible before they dry,it was easy to wrap onto the frame. Tite bond to glue them and then let them dry! We have a DIY site you can check out at www.theowlbox.com😍
