I suggest that you show some photos from your microscope to give us a clearer understanding. Thank you.
It’s hard to believe all these women are wrong. I personally had hylase yesterday and woke up with oddly lax skin on one side by my cheek. Then I began researching. If filler was demonized or the dissolver itself med spas would lose money as well as companies like Alle and Galderma. I tend to believe people and now myself over financially driven companies and businesses. Remember we also thought silicone breast implants were great until so many women raised alarms and NOT until then.
Useful and insightful information! Appreciate this from each of you- well done!!!💯👌🏻🥷
Two absolutely amazing human beings! So much knowledge, so much love ❤🥷
Thanks Lonny! You're the best!
Gretchen Rocks !
Thank you!!
I couldnt believe the comment "this stuff is so cool" regarding the carcinomas as it is incredibly inappropriate. Many people will be looking this stuff up because they or their loved ones have these conditions. In which case this stuff is certainly not "so cool". Please consider your audience more carefully! I just cannot continue watching after that!
Sunflower and safflower are two very different plants.
This is fantastic!! I don't know why I've never tried it before. It shoud be so oblivious that sunflower seeds oil could help me to care of me own face skin.
I JUST found out the ugly horn Shaped wart is squamous cell carcinoma on my shoulder it has healed but itches and I have to see a plastic surgeon I'm scared
Are you kidding? Are you looking for dates?? OMG
I have hyaluronic acid allergy My skin becomes red itchy along with swelling
I had intensive surgery on my nose 4 years ago which left me with a scar and as you were speaking it started throbbing! That hasn't happened in a while. I have to go back for surgery and I'm not looking forward to it.
I have squamous cell carcinoma on the side of my tongue. Will be removed by surgery.
good
It would be lovely if you would add the link to the article
Really Good
Really cool huh?
Great information. Keep them coming!!
Thanks Dr. Rajani!
Thanks for talking about this and sharing your knowledge. I have an appointment next week for this treatment, and I am hoping for a good result in firming of the jaw line, neck area. Can you please help me with what questions I should be asking prior to this treatment and perhaps give me an idea of price range?
Hi Michelle, did you do it? How did it go? I was just quoted $3600 in Georgia for this treatment. I'm wondering about the recovery time?
@@tammiestarks6464 sounds expensive. im in Florida initially was quoted $750 but was requoted $225 upon arrival since i was getting it done on a hypertrophic scar on my arm only. so not my face... I would definitely shop around to find someone both reasonable and knows what theyre doing. Since i was told you dont see drastic difference till after 3 treatments. I have only done one treatment and not much change i have my second treatment next week. Hopefully you find someone charging a lot less. good luck
I just got diagnosed with Squamous cell carcinoma in My Cervix with some iliac Lymphnode involvement on my left side a few weeks ago. I am going to be starting Radiation/Chemo in a month for 6 weeks 5 days Radiation 1 day a week fir Chemo. Because of the Lymphnode involvement I was not able to get a Radical Hysterectomy so I am kind of bummed out about that. Ladies don't skip out on getting your yearly pap smear's especially if you have HPV! I stupidly didn't go to my Gynecologist for 7yrs so I am very greatful it is only at a stage 2! I had a Paraguard IUD in that I thought was causing all of my symptoms but nope it is Stage 2 Squamous cell carcinoma! 🥺🩵
Amazing video as always. Keep up the great work!!
Getting some this week
Love that!
the malar edema after filler can be reverse by dissolving?
Wonderful video!!
Are you a real doctor
Do you have an opinion on drt radiation for a basil carcinoma verses mohs surgery? Or do you know of other options?
I burn mine off with a soldering iron, done and dusted
Worthless , not showing pictures of Examples avtually negate yhus oresebtstion. Staying out of tve Sun from 20 till ,2pm in the Sunshine States. Wearing prpet clothing and hats. Using Sunblock and Sunscreen continually throught the day do not smoje and drink or take meds irresponsibility. Do not feel ashamed of having beautiful light skin. We are not Barbie Dolls .
I have a small area of basal cell on the back of my head, about the size of a fingernail. It’s to be surgically removed but, due to the location, the wound can’t be closed. So he has to take a piece of skin from the other side and stitch it in. He then has to make a cut between both areas and pull the skin up. It’s going to leave a scar. I thought it was just a tiny pimple and left it too long. Please see a doctor immediately if you suspect something.
I’m an Australian guy. I was a nurse for 45 years. Your communication style is excellent. God. Less 🙏🏼☮️👍
I visited NSW in 1979. With that intense southern hemi sun I observed so much skin cancer with the largely Caucasian population. Pretty country indeed and I trust more sunscreen and umbrellas are being used now.
Is she a doctor or MODAL😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
What's a modal?
hi,my 94 year old father has had many bcc scc sites removed from his hands arms face over the years different dermatologists have removed them by surgery and freezing, all the previous dermatologists would remove 1/2/3 at a time because of his age, they all clearly said, sir your 94 lets be conserative on your treatment we will remove 2 maybe 3 sites, then come back in several months and we can remove a couple more ,that worked great for many years, but the last doctor wanted to remove 6 sites plus freeze another 10 sites, but i stopped this doctor from doing that much at once, i was afraid of that many open wounds would be just to much and allow infection in, since then the sites this dermatologist wanted to remove have"nt grown or changed in any way,,was i wrong by not letting this doctor remove that many at once,we did a follow up with a different dermatoogist recently and they agreed with me there is no reason to remove 6 at one time and freeze that many more, especially at his age So he removed 2 and rescheduled us 6 months to remove a couple more,So are my worries about possible infection from too many open wounds founded or am i just being a worry wart ,,no punn intended,,thank you
Great video explaining the layers then you . I always do a 1:1 never hear of 8:1 what would be the reasoning of that dilution ? Thank you
I recently have been diagnosed with Basil Cell Carcinoma on the tip of my nose. The Dermatologist treatment is Mohs surgery with a follow up with the Plastic Surgeon. My concerned is the scar factor. I understand the logic of removing the cancer cells but my vanity is worried about the results. Is there any other procedures that are less invasive, but still successful? Thank you!
Thank you for the information ❤
Wish she would’ve had some photos
exactly
Nothing about skin cancer is cool by the way. Can't you talk a bit faster.
I tend to grow many squamous cell carcinomas. I’ve long ago lost track.. I was a pasty white pale kid in the years before sunscreens. I became a sun worshipper as an adult until my skin was ruined. I very suddenly developed a swollen lymph node in my axilla in 206. It was diagnosed as a metastatic squamous cell carcinoma that had come from a lesion that was treated in 2009. I ended up having extensive lymph nodes removed from that axilla and May from above my clavicle. Most were no longer encapsulated. I had extensive surgery by two different surgeons at a university hospital and subsequent chemo and radiation. It was brutal but I am still here at 73 years old. I can’t change the deep burns of my childhood or those as an adult but I absolutely avoid the sun and use good sunscreen daily.
What a beautiful woman. Wow.
Grechen, can you talk about the chances of each type to become malignant, the consequences of waiting vs early care, and about when the Mohs procedure is necessary? Thank you.
Does it treat wrinkles under the eyes? and the crows feet?
Hello Dr. G Great talk! Do you have any upcoming trainings?
Thank you! You can book a training directly through gfaceacademy.com
Squamous cell cancer around the opening of my penis. Almost 1 1/2 years to diagnose. 3 urologists, gmhc, infectious disease dr., finally dermatologist did a biopsy on the second visit. Everyone said this is not the usual presentation. Going to cancer hospital for moh’s. Terrified. Dr. Said surgery would be best, not topicals. Any opinions?
How you doing? Everything ok?
Did they do an incision or mohs surgery?
A few pictures of what you mean would help.
LOL, I bet no one believes she's a real doctor, but a model 😂 Super job beautiful, smart lady! She hit the genetic lotto!
I had this squamous cell skin cancer on my left temple area that would crust. The crust would fall off and then grow back. I finally told my primary doctor about it and he cut it out right in his office. He got all of it out in one attempt and told me he figured it was cancer when I mentioned that the crust would fall off and then grow back. This was way back in 2002-I was fifty years old then. I have been going to a demotologist for years to have routine check ups. Thank you for this informative video .
Had one on my shoulder 34 years ago, pretty sure it was a spot a friend? had burned with a magnifying glass when we were kids, anyway My Dr cut it off in the office, and , 34 years later no problems i have somewhat dark oily skin so???
Outside episodes!!
‘This stuff is so cool’ very reassuring for people suffering with cancer to hear
I might have skin cancer and I do geek out on this shit lol. It’s knowledge. It is cool because the more we learn, the better our chances of survival.
@@arizonahd cool is far from how I would describe this. Knowledge is power but cool is a very immature and insensitive way to put it. You “might” have skin cancer, very different from those suffering undergoing treatment.
@@skroochi1901 it doesn’t bother me. I laugh at death lol. Not really, I am very scared. But I actually find comfort in talking about these issues with a bit of geek appreciation to how it works and potential ideas to thwart it. I won’t deny those feelings tho, it may hurt if you’re undergoing this. But I think it was most definitely not meant to be offensive.
Pictures would of been helpful and less technical verbiage.
*Promo sm* 😅
