Listening to that, I agree you looked leggy, but you were miles off it in truth.. That should have been a 3, 4 nil scoreline.. I had a lot of expectations of brackley, but they disappointed. There are better teams in this division.

Tactically spot on I thought, no point going for it first half, still in the game at 75mins and creating a few chances, second half was superb and could've gone our way, Bates was decent second half, just wish he'd have put some corners in on the keeper, thought he had a mistake in him, wasn't convinced on the offside either. Fair play to the boys, great effort against a decent side, have to say Stockport made Brackley fans very welcome aswell

As a Stockport fan, I applaud Brackley yesterday even though I didn't go (season ticket holder) did have enough cash to go but I will be back next week but I'm hoping Big Ben will be back in the side and Barry to face his parent's club rivals Birmingham on Saturday or we'd be out of sight by half time.

When the name ‘Brackley’ came out the hat, we Stockport, had shivers from our not too distant past against you! You are quite the bogey team for us and today you didn’t disappoint. Your team was a real credit. I genuinely thought with our passing game we’d have you knackered after an hour but you kept going AND some and really put us to the test as times. You had a plan and the players did so well and certainly on another day it would have been yours…but today we just about did enough. I have watched Brackley for 20 plus years and find the comments made quite unbelievable. Chorley, Home or Away, is always a close hard fought game, so with two of your back three missing including our very influential skipper, it was never going to be easy. Neither team were better than the other,, and we had plenty of chances , but just could not put it away. All the players perform, ,giving their all, and we do have a manager who takes responsibility. You are entitled to you opinion but I strongly disagree. See you at Peterborough!!

I'm sorry but how can he say that we played well last night. In over 6 years of watching Brackley , that 90 minutes was the worst I've seen. We created very few chances and , not for the first time under his management, just looked totally devoid of ideas. Individually, we have a decent set of players who should be performing at a much higher level so he needs to start taking responsibility for the poor showing so far this season.

I'm managing this club in football manager23 First year got them out of relegation battle and next year won the trophy and got promoted

The more I listen to Gavin, the more I get the feeling that he is a manager that players really want to play for. He takes the blame for defeats, he puts wins down to players, and, just by that physio comment, he understands players are just human, and wants them to enjoy life outside footy.

Let's keep our fingers crossed. And get over the line.
