These are great questions and we'll get the answers on this episode of groove builders!
Whether you're an experienced model maker or a beginner eager to learn, this episode promises to have something for everyone . So, fasten your seatbelts, grab your tools, and let’s get building!

I want this model so bad I just finished the big werewolf guy
Have they fixed the issues with this model yet?
2:12 Haha... this is indeed my first kit.
Yeah this video sucks...but I still gave it thumbs up
@@shanecuffee7766 I like to think I’ve come a long way haha I have some cool videos coming out this year that I’m pretty excited for and I have an uploaded lately because I got a brand new job as a marketing creator because of this UA-cam channel! Crazy times really. Thanks for the thumbs up! I hope you were able to build the DeLorean.. it’s one of my favourite models in my collection. If you’re looking for a more in-depth version, I have the full build too. This is just my fun video :)
I'm so glad I looked this up. Got one coming soon with the Ekranoplan and I know I would've struggled more without this video. Thank you for even pointing out the flaws, if I encounter the same, it'll provide some sanity. Great build!
Wondering if you have tried to build the StarCraft battleship one from the same series. If so, would you have the manual available still?
Hello, I have worked on other metal earth models but I’d like to build a train. However I am intimidated by making the circle bends. I saw those white shafts you used to bend them. I was wondering if it was a kit or just some random stuff you used. Thank you
lmao
What is the best metal earth model to start with for a complete beginner?
How does this compare to the hydraflex machete
Great Question! Personally I liked the Machete for cleaning but when it came to digging the Silencer is better. The machete is plastic on the inside, so heat, dirt and bashing will causes it to wear faster. My machete lasted me about 5 months, Silencer 9. The refresh kit is cheaper then a rebuild kit. On cost alone the silencer is better but again depending on what your doing you might find the machete to be useful. I have a comparison video on Tik Tok you might want to checkout.
Today I finished my ISS but it was a mess! OK, I'm a beginner, so I did some mistakes. I wanted to heal them with a little bit of glue. To harden this I`ve took the whole on the heater (very tiny) in our eating corner. After one hour, it was very silent, nothing else happened, the whole model crashed on the floor. Additional hours to work on it... I think our heater started to work (outside -5 degrees) and the solar-modules were catched by this small upwind. This is crazy
Completely screwed up my build of this thing. Pieces are super small and difficult to hold onto and see.
Would love it if you spoke about the way you actually shape things with your fingers. I’ve built three models now and really find that attacking these models like clay is a huge part of the game and makes it so fun. Really allows you to finesse each build to a perfect fit and shape. Metal earth so much more personal than a traditional model out of plastics. Where as plastic models find their personality in painting these metal builds take on a more personal touch with your actual literal finger touch
You might be able to use solder to get some of the trickier parts to stay.
There’s a cut in the video at 2:23 and I have never been more confused at how you got the middle
Where can you get the rolling kit from? I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find any, ive got everything else
Hi, which UV glue do you recommend for repairing metal models? Do you have a video about this?
make a pot with the interior being the rocks shape head
@@Viperwon definitely could, and I even thought about it originally, then I realized repotting would suck. Still tempted.
Every time the spring shot off l laughed
bruh
While appreciate having the video available to compare to my own progress, I find the fast build and discussion unhelpful. If it was slower and walked you through the process it would be better.
@@tdawgmaximus8160 I agree, this is an older video and I like to think I’ve come a long way haha I am glad that I was able to help in someway and maybe you should come back to these older buildings and redo them
Have reviewed any jewelry making tools for 3d medal puzzles
4 mins? I’m showing this to management
is there any way I can find pdf instructions for this model?
Darco? Lol
Thank you so much, it was such a help building mine!!!
that bent plate seriously hurt to see
@@matmightstir1427 right? You should of seen my face haha
What irritates me is that it never says to twist the headlights on part 83. (At least I can't find it) That REALLY confused me! Thanks so much for your videos. The only question now, though, is How did you know to twist them?
@@RandyWrenn your right and I had that in my notes but I guess it didn't make the cut. I looked at the 360 pictures haha It reminded me of the details on the echo 1 so I followed a similar method. definitely a confusing miss in the instructions though.
This was a fun build. The newer painted version of the Millennium falcon was also a pretty fun one. I kinda want to buy another sand crawler and maybe do a second one since I have more builds under my belt and more experience. The current one I’m working on is the uss midway.
I got this one today. How to paint it like in promo ?
Thank you, my kit didn't come with instructions so your video was really helpful
Awesome build, this one was intense.
and or Piececool
Would like to see more MU builds
Having issues with No 12. The video skips over it. Can you help?
sorry the late response, I have been looking for the instructions for this build and I can't find them. I think it was a QR code but I do have all the footage. Can you give me more info about the step?
Thank you very much! It's a big build and the review is going to be fun. Any requests for the next one?
$100? Mine was $40!
@@Rick0809v4 it’s been out for a bit so I’m glad they lowered it to $40. Good price for that kit
Thank you for the video. Made it easier to build it especially for a first timer. Im now gonna get more, but pay attention to the skill level lol
39:21 im doin this with arthritis (23 yr old) it a fun challenge shouldn’t have bought such a difficult one but kinda enjoying the challenge especially when i can get it where i want things to be
What show is this from?
@@Vendettaseve2 my story but it was inspired by the Metal Time Team and Stephen King‘s dark Tower series. Blane the pain is a train and is one of my favourite villains.
@@GrooveBuilders oh damn, thanks for the reply!
those metal sheets look less malleable than Microworld's
Yes and no. I find the metal to be pretty forgiving with the smaller Metal Time kits. Microworld parts break kinda easy. you can get better curves with MT than with ME but I think the details of ME are still better.
Good video, as Metal Earth models go this one has the highest parts count at 238 pieces as stated on the package. Not super tricky to build, but bring extra patience because this one will take some time to build.
This one was an absolute nightmare. It's not even possible to bend some of those tri-tabs flat, because there's no room for any tools to grab them.
this wired look like they’re buried pretty shallow , is that normal? Excuse my ignorance lol
While I can't say for certain, given there's multiple types of wire present, the typical direct burial depth for broadband communications is 18". However, if you've ever watched a Verizon or Cox technician come out and bury a cable, you know those guys half-ass a lot of stuff.
@kevyn4016 Yep, they’re drops. The fiber thats going in will replace these and be at the right depth :)
Super :)
